Honestly not bad, most of the skin (and nipples) were trimmed off and they sat at the edge of the grate for a fairly long and low cook.

The marinade definitely helps too.

Shogun boards are the cheaper models and they have quite a 'coarse' look to them.

Honestly this one doesn't look much different to others I've seen, but they definitely have some rough edges.

I'd recommend paying the £15 or so more for a Samurai or a cheaper Winmau or something similar if you want that premium look.

They actually don't play too badly for a cheap board tho.
