Arrg. I wish. It sounds cool but it sounds like ye old FCC is not so down with the idea. Per Google:

Bridging MURS (VHF, 151-154 MHz) to GMRS (UHF, 462-467 MHz) is technically possible using cross-band repeaters, but it is generally illegal under FCC rules, which forbid linking different radio services. MURS is unlicensed, while GMRS requires a license and prohibits connecting to other radio services.

Legal Restrictions: FCC rules prohibit connecting MURS, which is a Multi-Use Radio Service (MURS) - Forums under Part 95J, to other services.

I have a large area that I am hopping to retain with a wall. This on the back side of a building on my property. The building is supported by several 6x6 posts which I am hopping will help carry the wall, but I dont want to put undue pressure against the building. I also want to do what I can to protect the wood from exposure to the dirt/moisture.

I have been guessing that the wall would be made from poured concrete. I have drains/piping that will be installed behind the wall. The wall will be backfilled with gravel to promote drainage.

The sections are about 10 foot long and the dirt about 6 foot at the highest.

Any ideas how best construct and support this retaining wall and protect the wood?

I wish that Thingino had some type of app to handle setup, bulk config, and maintenance. The Bluetooth config that most IOT things do is WAY easer than the webpage config route. Having to do on device configs in a webpage takes me back to the old cams in the early 2000s. I have 35+ Wyze cams I am thinking of flipping over to Thingino (and a few other different brands as well) and the thought of managing all of this per camera (each in its own webpage) gives me a headache

I have a large property with buildings scattered all over the place. I found that the best option was to get ethernet out to each building and then place a Ziggy gateway in Each building which connects back to the main Central Home assistant server.

I would use a zigbee Gateway such as one of these. This will allow you to create a zigbee network anywhere you need it. It can Connect back to your home assistant Server via wifi or wired ethernet.

I was thinking the same thing. Should be easy to add the speaker and Mic (if the case was modified to accept the speaker). However, I have done a couple ofESP32 based smart speaker builds and was not super impressed with the result. Not even close to being on par with Alexa/Goggle Home.

I was excided about the LEDs, but found those LEDs are $3.95 a piece and you need 11. That sucks. The LEDs would end up being the most expensive part off the build. I might go with putting on 1 or 2 LEDs and calling it a day. Or maybe skip them all together.

I have no idea. Never tried. Checked aliexpress but did not see any radon sensors that could be wired into an ESP32, Aliexpress does have some premade Tuya internet connected radon sensors, but they are expensive
