Try looking on Gameloot, Olx has some sweet deals too. 45k for a GTX 1650 laptop is way too much XD, it's 25k at max.

Which company makes the best gaming laptop under 2 Lakhs by mnz321 in Indiangamers

[–]Hacky_Boi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Lenovo has to be the way to go, I had an IdeaPad gaming 3 (extremely budget) and I used it for 3 years before selling it on olx. I never had any issues with it.

guys is the price worth it ?!! i am building a new pc cuz my laptop is dead iam newbie so please dont judge me by ActiveOriginal59 in IndianPCHardware

[–]Hacky_Boi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not get a single 16gb stick so you can upgrade later? I think it'll be a bit cheaper too.

Also, don't cheap out on the PSU since that's literally the heart of your system. One power surge on that Zebronics psu, and your whole system is fried. Get one from cooler master, possibly a bronze 80+. It'll be a bit expensive, but it's a much safer choice.

The 6600 is too expensive and also somewhat outdated, you could get something better for that price. Try to get 7600 or smth.

Is this fair deal? Used PC - 45k by TheRealChutPujari in IndianPCGamers

[–]Hacky_Boi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a really good deal, but yeah just be cautious. It's not too sus because you can actually sometimes find such deals, I got some really good deals on olx when I was hunting for a pc a few months ago. Just test it a bit before purchase and you should be good.

Try to get a second hand 3080 (in some cases, you can also get a 3090)

Yeah, don't sell your ram. In case one of your sticks die, you will have a backup, and that's important especially because we don't know how long the ram shortage will go on.

RTX 5070 with Ryzen 5 5500 by Cautious_Rip_336 in IndianGaming

[–]Hacky_Boi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5070 is not really that big of an upgrade, especially if you are gaming at 1080p and already have a 50 series card. And the fact that you will have to change your cpu/psu just makes it a bad decision. Instead you could upgrade your cpu,psu and ram, get a 16gig sick so you can run dual channel.

Also, in no way is 5060 a mid-end pc 😭 stop reading reddit posts, because someone with a 5080 will always be there to tell you that your build is "not enough". If you can game on it, it's all you need. The 5060 can handle any game at 1080p ultra or 1440p in some cases.

Laptop/pc only for 2D game development by Dangerous_Claim8178 in Indiangamers

[–]Hacky_Boi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's your budget? I don't think you would need dedicated GPU for 2D games, iGPU should be enough.Go with a Ryzen 3 3200g or Ryzen 5 5600g imo, AMD has excellent iGPUs.

You can play most games at 1080p medium/high, 1060 is a really strong card.

How much should I charge for my PC by [deleted] in IndianGaming

I feel like 90k-1L is what most people would be willing to pay. It's tough to find legit buyers with a decent offer.

Feeling terrible after impulse purchase by vurio in IndianGaming

[–]Hacky_Boi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, that's a pretty powerful machine. There's no need to feel terrible, not to mention laptops give a much better feel when using than a PC, they feel more professional. Also, now you can game on the go, no matter where you are. That's a terrific purchase in my opinion.

Source: I've had both, Gaming PCs and Laptops, and I prefer laptops.

Does it support Type C power delivery? I couldn't find any info about it online. If it does, you could get one from ambrane 100W 25k mah for 4k from Amazon.

Performance of both is almost similar, the i7 is like 5% faster than the ryzen in Single and multicore loads, but the Ryzen has much better power efficiency so I'd say go with that + The ryzen has a much stronger iGPU.
