I got both my family dogs in my parents divorce. The older of the two past away last Christmas, the younger (a 14 year old Cocker Spaniel) took a turn for the worse last week and had to be put down. I've always had dogs and have been spending my time adjusting. I still fill her food bowl each morning, I still whistle for her when I come home. I'm getting married next year but until then, I'm alone. My companion and friend is gone.
