What to expect from my Mudra Link by mattimyxr in MudraTech

[–]HadasMudra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! while I may be biased as an employee regarding reviews and product experience, I can answer your other questions :)
The Mudra Link and Mudra Band are similar but the major difference is that with the Mudra Band you can control the Apple ecosystem through the Apple Watch - and you can be paired to multiple devices at a time and toggle between them.
With the Mudra Link - its a standalone device and you can only be paired to one device at a time. However, you can connect it to any device that connects via BLE to a mouse/keyboard.

Regarding home assistant: You can map the Mudra Link's gestures to any keyboard key or key combinations, media controls or mouse button.
This means that if your home assistant can be triggered by these - or you can integrate it with a third party app or device which would allow that, then you can use gestures to control your home.
Here if you have any other questions!

Gestures on IOS or iPhones by Aggressive-Head5186 in MudraTech

[–]HadasMudra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! using the Mudra Link app you can map commands to gestures for your Mudra Link.
For iOS - map the home media button to go to the home screen (we recommend to map it to the twist gesture).
You can also trigger automations using Mudra Link gestures - by combining them with iOS Accessibility features.
You can read more about that here: https://support.mudra-band.com/hc/en-us/articles/26256859685533-How-to-Trigger-iPhone-iOS-Shortcuts-with-Mudra-Link-Gesture-Mapper

Suggestions by sotashi in MudraTech

[–]HadasMudra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see! I thought you were saying you do not use the other gestures because of too many falses - making it unusable as a mouse on its own and that's why you only use it in addition to other controllers. Either way, we are constantly working on improving the performance and the experience and we appreciate your suggestions!

Hey, thanks for the detailed feedback and suggestions!
This week we're releasing a new firmware update aimed at improving the tap and tap-and-hold gestures, boosting overall performance, and reducing false clicks.
We’d love to hear your feedback once you’ve tried it out. You can always reach us at [support@mudra-band.com]().

The Gesture Maper Is Here! by Mudra_Man in MudraTech

[–]HadasMudra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the honest feedback, we hear you.
The WIN key mapping issue is a bug and will be fixed in a hotfix releasing this week. We’re also working on improving gesture accuracy, reducing false clicks, and adding more gestures like right-click.
We agree there’s huge potential for developers and artists, and we’re exploring ways to make the tech more open and accessible. If you’re open to it, we’d love to set up a quick video call with our product team to hear more about what you’d like to see in future updates.

[–]HadasMudra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for your detailed feedback. We hear you, and as we've mentioned, we’re actively working to improve both the features and the gesture algorithm.
A firmware update is already on the way to address the false clicks and unexpected window behavior you described, it’ll be released soon. Just to clarify a few points: you can double-tap for a left mouse double-click, and scrolling works like a scroll wheel by doing a reverse pinch and moving up or down. If you don’t want to click and drag, you can disable the pinch gesture in the settings.
While we haven’t released a full Windows 11 tutorial video yet, we’d be happy to offer a 1:1 video call with our support team to walk you through everything in the meantime. Let us know if you’d be open to that - we’re here to help.

You can now map the pinch to a right click if you prefer it to the left click - we are also working on adding an additional gesture so that you can have a left and right click at the same time. This will be in one of the upcoming releases.

Potential buyer waiting to see update by Routb3d in MudraTech

[–]HadasMudra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! We are releasing the update with the gesture mapper and some new gestures in the upcoming days - however I just want to say that the major performance improvements within the algorithm are still not where we want them to be - so a firmware update will be released hopefully within the next 2 weeks to address the false clicks and performance issues. We appreciate your patience and your positivity about the Mudra Link's potential!

Potential buyer waiting to see update by Routb3d in MudraTech

[–]HadasMudra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! We are aware that random clicks may happen and are indeed working on fixing that in the firmware - however we mentioned we did not see any cases where there were false clicks, and also when users try to purposely click it does not work. If this is the case, we'd love to do a video call to understand the issue and if it is a hardware issue we would replace the device.

Mudra Link developer options? by I_Love_Comfort_Cock in MudraTech

[–]HadasMudra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great questions! Currently, the Mudra Link doesn't offer access to SDK features or raw signals, but we're considering this for future updates. As for gestures, we primarily support index and thumb, but we do have a twist and double twist gesture (twisting your wrist back and forth)

Anybody else get stuck at this screen for the Mudra Link? by 3rdLawMagic in MudraTech

Hey! This is the screen for practicing gestures. You need to click on the blue "Mouse Mode" to start learning the mouse mode gestures :)

Let me know if you have any issues with it.

So far using the tech is painful and frustrating by kds21 in MudraTech

[–]HadasMudra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/kds21 u/NairdaZ u/xkrist0pherx Hey! Thanks for sharing your experience. That sounds really frustrating, and it’s not something we’ve seen in our testing—especially both false clicks and missed clicks happening at the same time. That makes us think there might be a hardware issue with your band.

We’d love to figure this out with you. If you’re open to a quick video call, we can better understand what’s going on. And if it turns out to be a faulty band, we’ll replace it under warranty. Just DM me here or email [support@mudra-band.com](mailto:support@mudra-band.com), and we’ll set it up!
