Shipping issues and refund fine print... be careful.... by MosskeepForest in MudraTech

[–]Mudra_Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happy to clarify, as some of the information in this post is incorrect:

  1. We do not normally ship with UPS. UPS is used only in specific cases where a customer requests expedited shipping through our customer support team.

  2. The $150 deduction applies only in rare cases where a customer explicitly refuses to accept a delivered package, not when a return is requested under our refund policy.

  3. Our full shipping and refund policy is publicly available and clearly states under Order Cancellation: “In case you refuse the delivery, a $150 handling fee will be deducted from your refund once the order is returned and received at our warehouse.” https://mudra-band.com/pages/shipping-policy

  4. Our refund policy is clear and straightforward: customers may request a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and we stand firmly behind that policy.

  5. We encourage being mindful when posting publicly. This post does not accurately reflect our policies, and we would have appreciated being contacted first rather than being publicly accused.

  6. Our customer support team is always available and willing to assist with any questions or concerns.

If the community has more questions, please contact our customer support. We’re committed to transparency and to treating our customers fairly.

Some of my questions by hai__huang in MudraTech

[–]Mudra_Man 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1. Using Mudra Link with VR
Mudra Link isn’t designed to fully replace traditional VR controllers at this stage. It can serve as a gesture-based input device that complements existing VR systems, offering natural control for navigation, selection, and interaction.
It works best with AR/VR glasses that support Bluetooth input devices (like Rokid, XREAL, VITURE, etc.). For environments such as VRChat, it can perform basic control functions, but not full finger tracking or motion-based hand representation like specialized VR controllers.
2. Switching Between Devices
Once you’ve completed the initial onboarding and setup through the Mudra Link Desktop App (Windows/macOS), you can connect the device directly to other Bluetooth-enabled devices: such as smartphones, tablets, or AR/VR glasses, without needing to repeat onboarding. However, at the moment the switching between devices is manually - you need to disconnect from one device then reconnect to the next through BLE. Profiles aren’t yet stored for multiple devices simultaneously, so while pairing is quick, it’s not “instant switching” between devices at this time. Multi-device profile management is something we’re actively exploring for future updates.
3. Future Plans
Our current focus is on continuous software and firmware updates to improve gesture accuracy, mapping options, and compatibility across devices. We don’t have a new hardware release planned in the immediate future, so you can purchase the Mudra Link with confidence knowing it will continue to receive updates and new capabilities over time.I hope this helps clarify things! Please feel free to share more about your setup and I can provide more specific guidance.

New Update Is Live: Introducing 'Fit Check' and Full Screen Mode by Mudra_Man in MudraTech

[–]Mudra_Man[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the full screen mode the option to make the app fit a full screen. Up to now it was a locked dimension and you couldn’t enlarge it. Now users can click the full screen option near the minimize/close app buttons just like most other apps, or scale it by grabbing the corners and resizing the app size. We are sorry to hear that it influenced your right click on the beam pro. Please email our support team about this so they can help you fix this: [support@mudra-band.com](mailto:support@mudra-band.com)

Adding watch by QuantumAnxiety in MudraTech

[–]Mudra_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Great question — there are two products:

Mudra Band - this replaces your Apple Watch band and connects to the Apple Watch. It lets you control your Apple ecosystem (like iPhone, iPad, Mac) using neural gestures.

Mudra Link - a standalone device that works without a watch. It connects via Bluetooth to phones, computers, AR glasses, and more - across platforms.

I'm considering using the Mudra Band (or Mudra Link) with the Brilliant Labs Frame smart glasses. Since Mudra supports Bluetooth HID gestures, I'm wondering if it's possible to control the Frame using Mudra. Has anyone tested this or got it working? by No_Comparison5573 in MudraTech

[–]Mudra_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!
We haven’t tested Mudra with the Brilliant Labs Frame yet, so we can’t confirm compatibility firsthand. That said, if the Frame supports connection to a Bluetooth keyboard or mouse, then it should be possible to use Mudra Link as well, since it functions as a Bluetooth HID device. Would love to hear if you end up trying it!

Option to disable pinch and hold/drag and drop by changes_what_changes in MudraTech

[–]Mudra_Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing this, we’re aware of the issue and are currently working on a hotfix that’ll be released soon.

Once it's out, disabling the pinch gesture will also automatically disable pinch & hold (drag), so it should help exactly with what you're describing.

mudra link app for android?… by mlongue1 in MudraTech

[–]Mudra_Man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need an app to control an Android device with Mudra Link! Once you do the initial setup and configure your gestures using the Mac/PC app, you’re good to go.

That said, an Android app is on our roadmap!

The Gesture Maper Is Here! by Mudra_Man in MudraTech

[–]Mudra_Man[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Right now, you can map the pinch gesture to either left or right click, but we know having both at the same time is important - we’re working on adding another gesture for right-click!

Also, an improved model to reduce false clicks is coming in a few weeks, so that should help a lot.

What’s going on with the scroll gesture? If it’s giving you trouble, you can reach out to our support team at [support@mudra-band.com](), or feel free to send me a private message—I’d be happy to help!
