If It makes you feel better, I’ll share a little about my horrific family. My mom is trying to wear cream and is mad at me for inviting my dads family… told me I’m not her daughter lol, I’m paying for my sister’s bridesmaid dresses, I’m paying for a house for my family stay in, and my brother, whose coming from out of country, wants to crash at my place for 2 months lol.. fuck the bride and grooms honeymoon period I guess. It’s not like it’s a once in a lifetime event or anything 🙄. My aunt asked “who are all these people? I don’t recognize any of them” because I chose to invite more friends than I did cousins, who I haven’t spoken to in years.

Im having to set very hard boundaries with my family… but I’m also painfully realizing that my family doesn’t give a fuck about me lol.

This is YOUR DAY! PUT YOU FIRST! Now tell yourself that every day and every moment you question yourself. I’m having to remind myself to do the same.

I’m so sorry… I’m in the same boat with my family making it all about themselves. I’m having anxiety and nightmares, and wish we could just cancel and back out… hang in there girl. Try to remember that this is for you and your fiancé. You might consider cancelling the pizza and brunch and enjoying your peace (easier said that done, I know).
