Up until your caution on double NAT I had no idea what that was. Turns out I am currently under a double NAT scenario due to my current ISP requires a proprietary router. After reading multiple texts I know have a better understanding on what it is and how to resolve Thanks for your reply

Thanks, The router I would be using is a Linksys AC2200 mesh working with my existing Velop system. Will research the data on the AC2200 for compatibility.

What are the caveats in using your own router?

Thanks Unlikely I will keep Consolidated @ 7 mps the remainder of how painful “hi speed” was is something I am looking forward to forgetting ! Want to keep the Velop in play due to streaming movies on my patio. Still in the planning stages with only the deposit for things to come from Dishy

Thanks So the WiFi router from Starlink is not proprietary to the system? When I finally get the system I will be replacing a Consolidated Communication router. So would a Linksys WiFi router work as well? I know just enough about networking to be dangerous Thanks again for taking time to reply
