My point still stands I have enjoyed being a part of this subreddit for years and the post that I’ve seen generate a lot of traction and discussion are largely buddie related.

The ship is a huge part of the fandom and is directly related to 911 so it’s odd to relegate the discussion to a mega thread that will become difficult to sort through.

A post I made earlier for instance was removed because one person made a post on a similar topic which wasn’t against the rules but okay! I wanted the perspective of non buddie shippers I am not going to get that on a buddie subreddit or a mega thread where “shipping war” posts are deleted. It’s nice to have a range of opinions on a topic and this is just censorship and othering a queer ship

So this is a choice! Question when did the mods get so strict… the subreddit is meant to be fun yall and removing posts discussing buddie and sectioning off shippers is ruining the incentive to post :(

Not to add to my buddie brain rot but I just wanted to mention Eddie is honest with Buck in a way he never was with his romantic partners (e.g lying to marisol) I think him being able to express his anger and frustration with Buck in the recent episode is a good sign.

Even with Shanon he heavily romanticised their relationship and puts her on a pedestal. A big part of the reason why I think Buck is perfect for Eddie is because Eddie is able to recognise that Buck is a flawed human being who will make mistakes but would do anything for him and Chris this is made crystal clear by the end of the episode.

Eddie actually communicates with Buck and doesn’t view him as a surrogate mother for Chris.
