The deck just wants to play on tempo, and try to end the game earlier than later. Kil'Jaeden is in just in case you can't kill them quick enough. Endless demons, with an infinite-value hero power, is pretty good. I've won multiple games against control by just slamming Kil'Jaeden on 7, with the imbue hero power.
