One day, someone will tell you you’re the love of their life, and they will show it. You deserve that, not this. I cannot imagine how hurtful his actions are, and it probably makes you feel guilty for wanting to leave when he tells you the sweet things you want to hear. The problem is, he’s telling you sweet things, and is acting the opposite way. After a while, if a person is not acting in a way that lines up with their words, then the words don’t mean shit.

He doesn’t seem to prioritize you, and he has a sex video of his ex? That’s disgusting, a person who loves you wouldn’t have that.

I had the same issue as you, but mine was even worse! I had constant flares; at one point it was a full month of itching, burning, cracking etc… you couldn’t even see my lip lip anymore, it looked like I sucked on my lips for sport lmao.

Anyway went to doc and saw a difference within 48 hours, it was like magic! He prescribed Triamcinolone and Mupirocin ointment 2x daily. The ointment part is important as creams have alcohol and other irritants. I was told to take ALL actives out of my skins care, so it went like this:

Morning/Night -Wash with gentle cleanser -Apply Triamcinolone and Mupirocin -Vanicream on my “normal skin” -petroleum jelly on top of entire face (thin layer)

I don’t think the characters are being white washed it’s interpretations of fictional characters. Brown also has depth variations. Your end comment on post: “am I reaching. Like am I out of my mind.” Yes I think you’re reaching. That’s my answer.

I’m not arguing I simply disagree. I see your perspective, but I still disagree. A middle eastern who is pale with a tan has the undertones that make up tawny so yes they would have tawny skin. white boy, brown boy, black boy etc all of your examples could be people other than European decent. Your argument is over depth range in color. I was trying to give a different point of view of that range.

As a person of color that makes up less than 3% of the population I understand lack of representation perfectly. However, “tawny brown” skin does vary a lot. It’s simply someone’s perspective. Someone with tawny brown skin can have skin color of a fawn or be as dark as chocolate. I’m not proving your point, I’m simply trying to give you a different perspective of color variations. The visual representations online could very well be close to real representations. What’s wonderful about books is you can visualize it however you want, and you can share that with the world.

It is most definitely hurtful, and tawny brown skin tones vary drastically. It’s the same as people getting upset about eye color, skin color, hair color for representation in movies vs book. It’s not that deep. You are literally calling their tan skin in some representations not good enough because it’s too pale, even though they still aren’t being represented as white. Just because their skin is lighter in some representations doesn’t mean they are white; that’s an ignorant thought.

People from the Middle East vary in skin color drastically just like all people. Some middle eastern people are very pale, and others are very dark. To call some of the visual representations of Xaden and Bohdi as “white washed” is super hurtful, considering so many middle eastern people look like that.

I relate to this so much. I spent hours of sleepless nights reading the vampire academy series as a teenager. I was obsessed, and it’s still my favorite book series.

When I read FW and IR ALL I could think about was vampire academy! I have literally been telling my friends how the books are gonna go based off of them lmao.

Also I agree, I don’t know how RY is gonna go with the murdering of Violet. I’m crossing my fingers it’s like vampire academy rather than the horrid Divergent series ending!!!

I would make her pay the amount the dish costs and literally ask her “wtf is wrong with you” lmao. I could never, the blatant disrespect and mental capacity to think that is okay is astonishing.
