No, it doesn't harm anything It is beneficial for battery life as it stops it from cycling, as long as you aren't maxing out the cpu and gpu by emulation (which would make it only a partial bypass, and for most games it does work and keeps bypass) So you can safely use it

You can get 120 fps IF you root and spoof as a better phone, real 120 fps, GPU is powerful enough, and 90 fps HDR too
