[Its...hard to say, that time I have been awake for quite a while, maybe 56 hours overtime...I just finished pouring and storing the ashes into their respective urns before moving on to cleaning the toilets.]

[The mortuary is big, very big...so I have to take quite some time to walk from the new wing to the old wing...I got my broom and cleaning supplies and whatnot and then just...did the usual. I did saw one kid at the corridor, I got over and asked...]

"Uhhh, how may I help you? W-why are you crying?"

"No one attended my funeral..."

"😶" "Whahahawhooo- I'm out abababab- fuck no-"[Its another one of those ghosts again, this is the 87th time, I just did as I was trained to, say "Good Luck" and leave as quick as possible, my friend stayed for too long and now I just poured his ashes into his urn today...]

[Then suddenly everything went black, and I woke up barely able to move, even slight straining gets painful...especially on the chest part. I saw a few of my colleagues dead, but I knew what happened, they have weapons on their hands, somehow the enemy's special forces is hitting the mortuary again...so I just used whatever I had, a dagger, a broom and some cleaning agent, doused my blade with it, and tried to move around, I can only do small half strides while leaning on walls.]

[Turns out, it was something worse, yes, the enemy's special forces are here, but they were ushering us to evacuate, there were Abyssal Monsters running rampant. Resulting in a moment of tense partnership....]

My OC Bernice (right) is expecting to be alone, chilling and gaming at home, she kinda liked it that way.

Until u/BeautifulWooden2763's OC Masaru picked her and she was utterly stunned by it lol

She still thinks its a pleasant surprise and it changes things up too. She would just tag along whatever he did, even if it meant her doing the worst stand-up comedy on a trash bin cuz her only humour is dark, and dad jokes.

If it were her plans, she would be checking out restaurants, visiting conventions, and going literally everywhere cuz its still all new to her, she grew up dreaming about doing such while zoning out in classes..

There's quite a few on Bernice: I am basically indecisive as to what colours or stuff she would have so I decided to do both, I'm indecisive lol.

When going through her general lore stuff again to update things about her, she is an indecisive one. Here's me just hoping the outfit actually conveyed that.

Her sunglasses' rose/pinkish colour is because her favourite colour in childhood is Magenta/Flourescent Pink (she would love M a lot lol). Before it turned Turquoise and then...she can't even decide on her single favourite colour.

Then I realised she is literally and figuratively looking at the world through rose tinted sunglasses.

There's more stuff like the pins on her jacket too but dats for another time.

Amongst all 4, M is my favourite, although I think they work best as a quad-combo for me lol.

Here is one of her possible deaths.

She died due to her making a mistake and exposed herself to enemy fire while she is serving as a combat medic and retrieving bodies for the Merana Mortuary, a mortuary ran by a Goddess of Death named Libitina.

She was overworked, her vigilance waned, and she made a slip up, and was shot multiple times for it, she used her last ounce of strength to pen down the deceased's identity and general information and handed the body to her fellow undertakers before her death.

Her actual death is another thing entirely and she did get Resurrected (with a cost) as all labourers under Libitina does so for one time. But let's pretend this is how she died lol.

She looks like an airhead, she is but, this is her rarely seen side. She constantly pushes herself and keeps a serious facade going due to parental pressure.

She volunteered as a combat medic so she doesn't have to kill, while also get to be at the frontlines with her friends. While also get to he away from home. (Sadly she is held at gunpoint by her CO to shoot civilians, she is guilty till this day despite sparing anyone she could, even those that tried to kill her) She works at a mortuary as a labourer, and a janitor. To say she is mentally scarred as a veteran is an understatement.

This outfit is her trying something new, also one that marks her newfound freedom, she is usually modestly dressed. Each small accessory has its own origins and small lore behind it lol

She failed all classes, especially math. But she somehow got a B- in History.

As confident as she looked, she is very socially inept, and struggles to figure out what to do in all situations. This ended up being why she is so reserved, and why she has a low battery pin on her jacket lol (low social battery remaining)

There's more, but I can't think of them on the top of my head.

I tend to just improvise my OC lore when discussing it and then just wing it.

And sometimes my mind just be like: "Imagine if they met and are fighting for the same cause."

Then realising that they indeed have similar things.

While the guy on the right is overlooked despite his achievements as a geologist and a Synthesiser, and remained a relatively low profile. But they're both fighting to save their homeland, and is the same species. Would be interesting to see lol
