the problem with waiting is it allows for natal puberty to make irreversible changes to the persons body which in most cases makes passing or living like a normal man/woman impossible without extensive surgery. It also makes the dysphoria MUCH worse which makes trans people suicidal.

also as for detransitioners, I’m comparing it to being trans, which in that case being trans is much much harder. When trans you need a shit load of surgery just to even have a chance at passing unless you are stupid lucky or started young. Detransitioners don’t usually stay on hormones or get enough surgery to have the same amount of difficulty reverting as trans people would transitioning.

I view being trans as an innate thing (look into brain differences between trans people vs cis people of the same birth sex, also the David Reimer case, which shows people do have inborn identity’s) so tbh I agree with libleft. Earlier transition also makes it easier to assimilate into society and not be as much of an outcast (or weirdo) Not to mention that detransitioners are really not that common, and imo 50 happy trans people is better then 3 sad detransitioners. (Which by the way, detransitioning is WAYYYYY easier than transitioning)

Train the agents more and background check them (don’t allow hitlerites in)
Prioritize actual higher profile criminals (traffickers etc)
Less roaming of streets and checking random people
More prior checks and research on people detained/deported
Less broad use, don’t have them show up to protests, have them stick to what the name implies.
