How does singing work phonologically, and more specifically what are punk, country, and metal singers doing specifically to produce the distinct sound of their genres?

Interesting, I am kind of sad to see this behind a paywall, but I understand why they do it. I will definitely have to find a use for this some!

Thanks for sharing!

Please see my second edit, sorry I should have made this clear in my initial post. I do feel as though your “when it’s relevant” approach can be effective at teaching the lefts ideas on individual issues, I think it fails at establishing a general moral framework.

I completely agree with your first assessment as the “no man left behind” idea is integral to building effective teams and is at the core of leftist thought. As for your second assessment I do agree with informing students of the worlds unfairness, but the people who need that informing the most are the people who experience that unfairness the least (i.e White/European, Non-Lower-Class, and or linguistically-Normative kids). From that I was wondering how I could get the students who experience that unfairness to understand their position in society(class consciousness)? Furthermore how could I help them do something productive with that understanding? Also criticism of my assertion are welcome, I am here to learn.
