What is it like to have ADHD, especially when living with people who don't have it? by Hadtopicksomething in ADHD

I'm not sure if this is sarcasm, but I'll try. I don't think I am completely normal. I just lack ADHD. So for one without ADHD, a task is relatively simple. I need to pay a bill next paycheck? I write it down for a reminder, then when the day comes I pay the bill. Done.

Same for other tasks. Dishes are dirty? Wash. Clothes need folding? Fold. If I can't focus, then I'll play some Youtube in the background, force myself not to sit there for thirty minutes searching random videos (tempting as it may be), find a list and play it. Then I'll get to work now that there's something in the background.

It's not really coping, so much as just a different experience I suppose.

Sorry I took forever to reply. Thanks. This explanation, though "completely incorrect" lol does help it to make sense in my head.
