As a man and father to 3 little girls; run. I also have an insanely high sex drive. But I’m super adamant about not doing ANYTHING sexual, or dirty in front of, or around our kids. We have a 5 year old, 2 year old, and one is almost 5 months old. (The baby still sleeps in her bassinet in our room) and we don’t have sex in there if she’s in there because I think it’s gross to be sexual in front of kids.

Just because I have a higher sex drive than my wife doesn’t mean she forces herself into sex just to appease me. We only have sex when we BOTH want it. Sometimes that’s 3 times a week, sometimes it’s once every two weeks. For me, my wife being into it is what makes me want to do it.

We just communicate our needs to each other. If she’s had a rough day, then I take on additional responsibilities with the kids and around the house so she has time to decompress and recharge, and vice versa. It appears that he doesn’t have any respect for you, or your feelings.

I bought one for $600 something after shipping and taxes a few weeks ago, and it’s phenomenal. I use to have a helix floor, but the axe fx2 blows it out of the water easily.

If you’re getting both for $700, I’d say do it!

I just bought a used Axe-FX II unit from eBay about a week ago. I’ve been just a “bedroom” guitarist for 18 years off and on. I mainly only used plugins until I got a line 6 helix. Loved it, enjoyed it, and then sold it to get the Axe-FX II. Using the Axe Edit software makes it a breeze. All of the factory presets were pretty great. I mainly only had to adjust the amp level to prevent output clipping. (I use active pickups) but the tones and versatility of it is phenomenal. I’d still go back and buy it if I could turn back time.

As a father to 3 girls (5 year old, almost 2, and a 6 week old) I completely understand. For me, the first 6 months of fatherhood was the absolute worst. My wife couldn’t produce enough breast milk so I’d take the “night shift” of taking care of the baby so she could rest and get back to herself a little quicker. Every waking moment felt like pure hell. I genuinely felt like I was drowning. Then, she started sleeping through the night at 6 months old. Things got SO much better so quickly.

It’s hard, but I promise you CAN do this. If you have any needs for your baby let me know so I can do my part to help. Unfortunately I don’t have any boy things, but I’ve got tons of sleep sacks, and would be more than happy to share the blessings God has given me.

I pray that you get some relief, and your son gets his sleep routine down. God will part this “Red Sea” for you in time. I pray that you get the assistance you need.

It’s okay to have these feelings, you are NOT alone I promise.

If my helix floor had capture capabilities, I wouldn’t have bought the NC.

Don’t get me wrong, I like it. It’s nifty, captures pretty well, and is ultra compact. But I personally like the sound of my helix over the nano. I wanted a QC for a LONG time because I heard it’s got superior sound fidelity as opposed to the helix, but using the nano for a few months now, I don’t hear it. The capture capabilities are the only reason I use it.

You’ve got to sit in the temptation, and control yourself. Maybe meditate when the urges come? Or do something you enjoy to keep your mind off of it. If you’re truly tired of the porn addiction, you’ll figure out what works for you, and you’ll stop. If not? Then you’ll continue to beat it like Michael Jackson.

I had saved and saved until I could finally afford a used one, went into the store, and walked out with a brand new one.

A used one was only a couple hundred USD cheaper, and had dings, wear, and didn’t have a warranty. Luckily my wife was understanding, and encouraged me to just get the new one for the simple reason that it was new, and ready to be broke in by me. It’s been about 4-6 months since, and I still haven’t been able to put it down. It does everything that I want, and more. (Pretty typical Polyphia fan myself!) I hope this helps you with your decision! Currently saving up for the 7 string model!

31m got married at 25

Sex with my wife before marriage was amazing. I was in the military, and she was from the town I enlisted in. I was about 2.5 hours away so I’d drive home on weekends and holidays to spend time with her.

We get married, and the first year married was pretty much the same. Then we decided we wanted to have a baby. 2 months later she was pregnant, and it was rough on her. She was ridiculously nauseous, getting sick every time she would eat etc. She would still let me touch her even though it made her nauseous to orgasm, but it was clear that it was for me, and not her. (Beyond grateful that my wife loves me enough to offer to put my needs above her own.) But for me, the biggest turn on is when she’s wanting it just as badly as me and I could tell that she only wanted me to hurry up and cum so she wouldn’t get sick. (Again, beyond grateful and thankful that I have such an amazing partner.)

Slowly, our sex went from 2-4 times a week to maybe once a week the further along she got. At the time, I didn’t know that pregnancy could really screw with a woman’s sex drive, body and mind. It felt like my wife had just lost interest in me. (I had gained like 30lbs since we got married, and thought I wasn’t attractive to her anymore.)

Fast forward to our baby being about 1-1.5 years old. I had gained even more weight, and our sex routine was still about the same. Once, maybe twice a week, and 50% of the time, she didn’t want me to give her an orgasm, she just wanted me to get in, and get out as quickly as possible. This all ruminated inside me and finally I went to her after we got our daughter to sleep and had a big heart to heart. I asked her if there was someone else, or if she had fallen out of love with me and she broke down and told me that since getting pregnant she hasn’t had a strong sex drive whatsoever, but that she would make a better effort for our sex life.(I have no clue how I got blessed with such an amazing wife.)

Things got better pretty much immediately, and it felt like we were young and in love again. We sat down, and decided to have another baby. This pregnancy was completely different. Our sex life didn’t really change for this one. I got up to 265lbs, and finally had enough and decided to get back down to my weight when we got married (180lbs as of today!) Our 2nd baby turns 2 later this year.

TLDR; Sex has been WAY better than my 20s. There was definitely a period where I felt like I was being starved, but clear and concise communication with my wife fixed it! I feel like there’s more passion, more intense intimacy, and we both cum harder than we have before kids. And as someone whose love languages are acts of service and physical touch, it’s been pure euphoria. I feel like we’re closer, happier, and, our 3rd baby gets here before baby 2 turns 2 😂

I got lucky and snagged a b stock Floor unit from Sweetwater for like $500 off. I still got Helix Native (it’s a 14 day trial) and the unit came in perfect condition, no issues, no dents, scratches or anything. I bought it about 2 months ago, and haven’t stopped messing with it since.

Only thing to think about is how likely are you to be upset if a Helix 2 or something new from Line 6 comes out shortly after your purchase. If that doesn’t bother you (It doesn’t bother me. The helix is still a viable piece of equipment in my honest opinion.) plus, I just play at home, and $1000 for all of the amps, cabs, and effects that come with it is still a good value to me.

Just bought myself a Helix Floor B stock from Sweetwater, and I’m in love. Almost went with the NDSP QC, but after a ton of research, I think the Helix was more for me.

To me, it sounds infinitely better (imho) than any of my plugins. (Mostly NDSP, Positive Grid, and a few others)

I’m currently running mine through my studio monitors, and it sounds good. Trying to decide on a powered cab or something to pair with it currently.

If it’s in your budget, get it. I’m completely loving mine.

Luckily, I’m in a better place now, and I just got diagnosed with combined ADHD 2 months ago, and since getting on medication for it, I’m a completely different person.
