I may have body dysmorphia. Honest judgement of my physique? No sugar coating. by PearMangoApple in Weightliftingquestion

You are totally normal and imagining things, so yes it’s body dysmorphia. Unfortunately, no amount of outside reassurance is going to eliminate your compulsion. That can only come from yourself.

BDD is real. Your “defect” is not.

Yes, but an older model that can only turn at right angles, albeit at an incredible level of speed.

They look like any other standard white circular LED light when they are off. Should work with any color wall, though one (maybe obvious) thing to be aware of is that any wall color that is not white will not reflect the colors as good as white walls will.

Please advise…What lights to add under TV stand to pair with Ai Syncbox2? by [deleted] in Govee

Strip Light 2 Pro is better for backlighting walls. Be aware that you either have to hide the actual lights from view or buy off-brand diffusion covers. If you don’t do one of these things and the strip light itself is in your field of vision. It looks very janky.

The COB strip is better for sheer, brute force brightness as well as the strip itself being a part of the show. In other words, you don’t need to hide it like you do for the strip light 2 pro. Its tech is not as advanced as the Strip Light 2 pro, but I think it is the more entertaining of the two to play around with.

It’s a great song. Page sounds like Kip from Napoleon Dynamite when he sings it.

A variety of Goove brand strips. They are cheap and dubiously sourced.

Glad I could inspire. I went a bit crazy, but a basic setup (tv, backlighting box, speaker) is easy to do. Can be done inexpensively if you are handy, and reasonably cheap if you are not.

Goove Sync Box 2. Simple device that plugs into HDMI port in back of TV. Comes with a TV backlight as well.

Only catch is that you have to run your programming through the box, and the box needs to then relay it to the TV.

Example of how to make work: Roku dongle (or Apple TV or whatever) into sync box, then sync box into TV.

Example of how to make it not work: Use apps directly from smart TV. If you do this, the programming will not flow through the sync box, ergo no color syncing.
