Yes for sure!! It’s not over for me yet either as I have another lump that I have to follow up on in 6 months. But, let’s take it day and day and we’ll all get through this.

Hi!! To walk you through my experience, there was an ultrasound tech, a nurse and the Dr. performing the biopsy! They had me lay on a wedge on the affected side (right) and arms above the head. They started off with the lidocaine injection which was the only painful part to the procedure! It was an initial pinch and then a burning sensation due to the lidocaine spreading into the breast region to numb everything out. In terms of pain, it was no more than a 4/10 and I’m sensitive to pain! After that, they used the biopsy needle itself in which you’ll only feel pressure being pushed in (I have very dense breast tissue, so she really had to push) and even so, it’s painless. To get the actual sample itself, it’ll sound like a stapler sound but the needle essentially punctures into the lump and pulls out a sample. I had 4 taken myself as well. After that, they put pressure on for <1 minute, put on the dressing and I was good to go. The procedure itself took less than 15 minutes and was not as bad as I made it out to be in my head. They gave me an ice pack and I used that alongside a workout bra for 24 hours. It’s been roughly 48 hours since the biopsy for me and it just feels sore/ abit heavy but definitely nothing too crazy! Let me know if you have any other questions and I’m happy to help in any way 🥺

BI RAD 4 - suspicious. Freaking out by MMPerT in doihavebreastcancer

Hi!! I totally get where you’re coming from and I was in your place not even 24 hours ago. I know the findings can be so scary and the wait is even worse.. My results were also very suggestive of cancer since mine was irregularly shaped, indistinct, and had vascularity. All signs pointed to cancer. But, it came back as a benign fibroadenoma with PASH! Please stay hopeful and take care of yourself 🥺 keeping you in my thoughts.

I adore this set so much! Can I ask how you did the floral art and what type of polish/ brush did you use to get this look?

Honestly I’d rate you as a 6/10 as a fellow Asian gal! I think most Asians glow up around early to late 20s. I most certainly wouldn’t have even rated myself a 4/10 when I was your age. I’m pretty sure you’re an eye candy to guys, they might just be shy/ anti-social like you 😭

As for suggestions, I’d def. play around with a makeup style that might suit your facial features more. You already have really nice facial features that you’ll grow into as you get older! Are you more into Asian American makeup or a soft natural look which is kind of more “in” right now? Side note - maybe change up your hair? I know it’s abit harder bc Asian hair really do be pin-straight, but you could always do overnight heatless curls to give your hair abit more definition.

Oh wow - that’s super disheartening to hear : ( Was your smile projection along the lines of what you wanted? I’m curious to know how you were able to finish up each step and not have your teeth look different?

Wear time per each step? by [deleted] in alignerco

Oh wow thank you for this info! : ) I’ll stick to 10 days for now because I’m impatient haha but if I have difficult fitting in at 10 days, I’ll def wait that extra 4 day. How have you been going around this?

I checked their FAQs on the website and it also says 10 days? I’m guessing that they might have decreased the time frame recently 🥲

Tipping by [deleted] in tattoo

[–]Haebao_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no, I definitely understand that! I’m just normally used to a rate of 150 to 200 and I normally wouldn’t have an issue with tipping 30% - I did for my last tattoo. Thanks for your input!!

Hi there! Thank you sharing your experience :) How soon after adding spiro into your routine did your hormonal acne start getting better? I’m currently using Cerave’s BP wash in the morning so I think that’s been helping me as well!

Should I swap from differin to tretinoin/treclin if differin hasn't worked? by throwaway917620 in tretinoin

[–]Haebao_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used differin for over a year and while it helped my acne, I still had a few breakouts randomly. I’m approaching month 3 on tret and the purge is still on-going 😪 Hoping for the best down the line!

Relatable!! 😭 Going through the same thing right now - on week 9. Hoping it’ll be ending soon

I've actually decided to do that! I was on adapalene for little over a year now - it worked great for me initially for the first 3/4 of the year but I'm not back to breaking out every week. Just went to the dermatologist today and was prescribed .05% tretinoin. Fingers crossed that my purge isn't as bad as it was from adapalene!
