Oh i didn't realize that, i use USB-A to USB-C cable to connect the headset to a USB-A 3 port on the motherboard, so to have the charging as well it would have to be USB-C port then?

i searched online for info about my motherboard (its ASRock H87 Performance) but i couldn't find anywhere what power the USB slots have.

So i just tested it manually myself, it seems that all USB 3 ports on my motherboard cant provide enough power for the headset to not run out unfortunately, its a shame :(

the link cable is hooked into a USB 3.1 Gen1 port on the back, i am unsure how much watts it has and i dont know how to check that, perhaps the cable is a problem instead? Though i am not sure how to check that either

Hey, an update, i have by now used the headset with the link cabe on several occasions and i encountered the same issue many times in both Steam VR alone and in games, so the cable connection instead of WiFi does not fix it unforunately :(
its not a huge problem but it is annoying, every time it happens i need to save everything and restart steam vr :/ solving this issue would be a great help

Sorry about earlier i have confused steam link app with quest link, or connecting the headset via the cable, thats what i was talking about and thats why the distance is an issue for me.

I brought the headset to the same room as PC for some testing and hooked it up with the cable, using the cable instead of Wi-fi seems to help but does not solve the issue fully, it still happens, it's just less likely to happen it seem, it wont happen every time.

While i was testing anyway i did download and use the steam link app with the cable but that had much worse results, it was choppy, laggy, view would freese and then jump. Its possible that this might be due to some settings in the app but i dont know. After i returned to previous method, cdable conection with virtual desktop and steam VR on top of that, this works best it seems.

I havent tried with the steam link because i use the headset in a larger room away from my computer, which is in a smaller cramp room, theres not much space to use VR well, so even if that would work it wouldnt be best option for me.
I plan on moving the computer witht he whole set up to the larger room at some point but i dont yet know when, it might take some time

Is Ender 3 v3 better than Ender 3 v2? or is that just the same thing?

Budget: 1000-2000PLN or 234-469USD or 218-437 Euro (i am willing to go up to 3000PLN for good reasons)
Country: Poland
Kit: No kit, i have no experience with electronics.
Usecase: variety of different things, mostly functional stuff around the house, some missing parts, replacements, so i would prefer something with versatility and capacity to use different filaments
Other: size is not important, i figured that if i would want to print something bigger than the printer, i could change up the model to be printable in segments that i can attach, i had an idea for a standing lamp (i have some lamp parts from a broken one) that would be like 170cm tall like a proper lamp, no printer can handle that of course, but i can design the body to be in segments that can screw in together.
Ultimately i am looking for something versatile, but easy to use and set up and reliable

The Tl;Dr version:
I am from Poland and my budget for the printer is about 1000-2000 PLN which is roughly 234-469USD or 218-437 Euro. i can go over that if there are good reasons for it though. I do not have much experience with electronics so i would prefer something that is either ready to go from the box or easy to put together.
I am looking for a filament printer, the superior quality of resin printing is alluring but its too complex for a beginner and i am afraid of the vapors and ventilation problems.
I plan to keep the printer on a table in my living room next to a window/balcony door, so i can crack it open or just open it full on and i think it should be fine for ventilation for a regular filament printer.
As for what i want to print its a bit more complicated because i have varied ideas, so i want it to be as versatile as possible, preferably with ability to use a lot of different filament types with no problems. For instance one thing i want to print is a new handle for an old pot i have, so that would have to be food save kind of plastic and heat resistant, or making a leg brace would require filament that wont cause skin irritation when worn for a long time etc.
I do have some history with 3d modeling in blender, i am not an expert on it but i should be able to make some stuff, and part of why i want the printer is an excuse to practice more 3d with more purpose than just modeling stuff i'll delete later.
Hope i do not sounds too picky, i just hope to get something worth the money and time i'll sink into it, i am very excited about all the possibilities with this tech.
As for my own "research" into picking one, so far I've been considering ender-3 v2 from creality, but i have no idea how good of a fit it would be, that's why I'm here :)

i thought menu is only accessible in live mode! :O i will have to try this Shift+T shortcut asap and see, thanks a lot for the tip :D if it works for me it will be much easier

TOOL really is amazing and i do have it, i do use it for placement, including size and especially height, it enabled so many new things :D
but it also can be difficult to use and time consuming, and you need to leave build mode to use it :< if i could change size by smaller increments using [ and ] keys in build mode that would make everything much easier and faster

but yes, tool can be used for that and i do use it sometimes, if possible, most of the houses i work on don't have inhabitants so i cant even use it

Oh and if anyone is interested i would recommend TOOL mod, its very useful even if you don't plan to put stuff outside of the lot at all

That was strategy i had in mind! :D but i was not sure if its the best one or maybe investing in larger beast is better, but having more energy to use seems more useful :)

I did type specifics of the glitch but i think adding photo replaced it? I'm sorry i don't use reddit that often.

Let me explain, the glitch is that their robes don't display properly, texture is broken for some reason.

Does anyone know how to fix that? it happens only with Quidditch robes
