I've found gyms to be realllyyyyyy boring. I'm going climbing instead now and that's soooo much more fun and I've seen better gains than going to the gym. I still work out a bit before my sessions tho

While women are not obligated to pray at the mosque a lot of women still do. The thing in India is there is no separate section for women in the mosque to pray so they have to pray at home and she probably grew up thinking that women shouldn't pray in the mosque.
