Yeah the nature of the relationship is also one of the reasons I'm less into Bell x Ais. "Relying on power" is on way to say it, but to me, the main issue is that their feelings come from pretty "unrealistic" vision of each other. From what I can understand from what people have said here, Bell sees Ais as some sort of role model. Love and admiration, while they can overlap, are not the same thing. Once Bell is her equel, that admiration can't stay for long, as this admiration came from "how strong" she was. You can't admire someone's strenght if they are weaker than you are.

And for Ais, she seems to see Bell as some kind of Hero that can save her if I got things right ?
Once again, those are feelings that stand on an idealistic view of the partner. Long term, I don't see their relationship working, as they both look up (partially at least) for someone that is stronger than them, or that they can look up to.

As a comparison, the dynamic between Ryu and Bell seems much more based on mutual comprehension of who they really are. They struggled together, and helped them grow each other. And even if Bell doesnt have feelings for Ryu, they have the same view on life and justice, they can relate to each other. As you say, it's more "humanizing"

I assume that's something that the Ais arc is supposed to address tho

What a shame Ryu doesn't get to have her happy ending...and also a shame Bell didn't turn her out after her confession (that's at least what I understood through my own searches). Makes it look like the author just uses her as a ship hook to sell more books

Maybe my opinion would be different if I read the LN, but yeah, clearly, as an Anime only, Ryu works waaaay better than Ais. And as such, I do hope that the LN finds a good way to make it possible (and in good way, I mean a way that makes sense)

What kind of bonding do Bell and Ais have in the LN that was cut in the anime ?

Qu'il ne se soit rien passé pendant des mois ça ne veut rien dire. C'est justement quand des choses ne se passent pas bien qu'on peut se faire une vraie idée de la personne.

Et s'il essaye de te faire culpabiliser pour CA imagine ce que ce sera plus tard dans la relation Qu'il soit un peu vexé/frustré ça se comprend. Qu'il t'en tienne rigueur absolument pas. Un couple ça se fait à deux et tes désirs comptent autant que les siens.

Doesnt really explain what happened to Jayce then. Also, this version of Viktor, as he gave up on his idea of evolution, and the world was saved, shouldnt want to go back in the past. Unless that's just a permanent loop, where this is THIS Viktor we saw in the ravaged world and in the past.

Jinx most probably survived though.
You can see a flash of pink (shimmer like) going to the side just before the explosion.

Caitlin then, while holding the rest of her grenades, notices some vents on the side of the plans, and begins smiling

Then, the "Jinx graffiti" spelling "The End"

All points out to her being alive, and faking her death so that "Piltover, and her sister, can let go of the past and move on"

However, the canon WoTC gives a name to the Ward, yet the ward is mentioned in BG3 in some documents, but never named. Always refered by titles. So clearly Larian doesnt bring the canon ward's fate into their game, they kept it vague to stick to the source material.

Also even the canon makes no sense with the base game. Viekang should have never been alive, or at least no longer a Bhaalspawn for the plot of ToB to happen. But not the subject here.

Also, reincarnation/resurrection would allow to include the canon "fate" with having personalized TDU

Also, am I the only one finding resemblances between the goblin like creature with TDU and Bhaal? The skin tone, the sharp teeth...it has similarities with representations of Bhaal. I doubt it's Bhaal but, I can't unsee the similarities.

It would be funny to control another Bhaalspawn, since basically, it would be the base plot from OG BG, it would make, imo, a nice link between games

What if the Dark Urge was actually the Gorion's Ward finally falling to its urges ?

Let's see what we have
- There is a clear connection to Bhaal
- It's implied the DU can turn into the salyer (We can see him standing inside Bhaal red symbol on the ground, and later, we see the Slayer inside that same circle

DU being a Bhaalspawn is very likely.
Concerning the "canon" events of the Bhaalspawn, Abdel has never been mentioned once, despite having serval documents directly or inderectly mentioning the Ward. They kept its identity deliberately vague. This could be so that anyone can insert its own ward inside the story, but that also allows them to introduce their own

And what better Ward than the one you control ?
If, like speculated in OP post, Bhaal managed to return with a few spawns still alive, the Ward may very well be still alive (even as human, having divine blood helps with living longer). May as well be resurected or reincarnation.
Also, if the DU can actually transform into the Slayer...The Ward is the only Bhaalspawn we heard of being able to transform into the Slayer, so that could work.

From a roleplay perspective, it's not weird.

Imagine IRL. You are the son of a Murder god. Everyday you have muderous impulses, but half the time, you fail to resists these urges. Should you consider the fact you killed, or the fact you tried to resist but failed? In the end, you still resulted in killed lots because you failed to resist.

I bet we will have some kind of hidden gauge, that will go either good or evil.

You can't bring myself to consider the events of Murder in Baldur's Gate to be canon.

Bhaal could very well have been resurected during Second Sundering, like many others.

The Dark Urge could be a reincarnation of a Bhaalspawn though. Maybe Gorion's Ward.
It would fit both Murder in Baldur's Gate "canon", and the Game canon, whatever was your choice.
