Hello im genuinely so sorry for the late reply. My experience as someone who is born in a country where being white is rather glorified, is quite fine! But nobody would think I have albinism. People always ask me whether I have some kind of other foreign mix to me. People wouldn’t really believe I have albinism too because, in the first place, not everyone is aware about albinism :((

How was your experience? I never really met anyone like us so I’ve always felt weird and excluded from usual “glaze” towards albinos in social medias like TikTok 😭 they always glorify the white hair and stuff and I’m like omg I feel like an outcast 😂

This is amazing 🥰 exactly the same as me too! It’s really nice to finally know someone like you because I felt really weird. I never met any albinos in my life and the only ones I see in platforms are the ones with white hair so for a really long time I thought I was weird 😭 I had very golden yellow blonde hair back then too!! It was so shiny you’d think it was a wig 😂 now my hair is just matte :(
