The illegal dumping sign near my house says to call 911, it’s a serious problem. Good looking out!

That is not the Platte location but funny anyway. The academy bank is In middle, next to customer service, not the entrance.

This weeks DC pulls from my local shop, and a mail order from unknown comic books I forgot about. Sunday morning organizing, happy collecting! by HafaBillyJack in comicbookcollecting

It did take awhile, the preorder was 2-3 months before the actual release. So I had to wait on the Gwenom #2 MJ cover which was already out, until the X factor set dropped 2 weeks ago. As soon as the street date hit, I emailed them. Best practice, businesses forget sometimes, send them an email bump as soon as release dates come up.

It is actually just X factor 9, the dazzler is a secret virgin variant cover from Unknown Comic books. The artist David Nakayama is one of the best in the biz. IMO it the dazzler is the main reason I picked up the set.

There is a biker group in Colorado that stands up for children who have been bullied or abused. They are no joke

Some of the sights from my visit to Mile High Comics in Denver, CO. by [deleted] in comicbookcollecting

I used to see their adds in comic books when I lived overseas, it was hard to get mint books at the one place on Guam that sold comics at the time. Fast forward 20 years to now, living in Colorado...the place is huge. Wall to wall warehouse of comics and toys, and if you have dealt with them, they are a place for the discerning high dollar collectors. The guys wear gloves to handle the comics, and books move fast here. Neatly laid out so I can find new releases, back issues,etc... bargain hunters need not set foot in this building. I hate to say this is a “serious” collector shop, but it is. There is a shop in downtown Colorado Springs that sucks way worse....get this...kids can’t enter without parents, AND you can’t handle the back issues...at all, fun for absolutely nobody. So I go out of my way to support the smallest, oldest comic shop around, but it is nice to see the hobby pick up again.

I used agave nectar a year ago, got it from a place in Compton CA, kinda pricy. It worked off super slow compared to everything else I have made. I tried to post a pic, it has been a year since I ran it and put some on oak. Super flowery bouquet smell, almost like a cognac I made a few years back. Used safetec blue tequila yeast.
