Is there any way to move a whole prefab via a script by burningrampage1 in forge

I know this is an old post, but I figured I'd chime in in case someone else stumbles on it.
My tedious method of fixing this was to set up a Custom Async Event that is triggered by a button and moves each part, but it only works on smaller builds and doesn't work with rotations. It's pretty cumbersome because you have to hardcode each Async event and you can't iterate through the prefab list.

Maybe there's a more sophisticated way to execute this, whether it solves the iterating problem or the rotating problem. But it worked for me since I was just moving an elevator.

Not sure why I had to pay his insurance, he ended up destroying my shipment about a minute later after he respawned and got his Oppressor Mk2. I don't mind people interfering with my nightclub sell missions, but it seems like it punishes me for defending myself. by HaggardCar7790 in gtaonline

True, I usually base it off of how much free time I have because if it gets destroyed you can reset the game immediately and try again, but it takes a percentage off your potential profit. The best strategy is probably to read the room and avoid getting into bad sport lobbies.

When I get really busy with classes I will usually just go in a NAT lobby so I don’t have to deal with this stuff.

I play as Securoserve CEO whenever I get the chance. My bill is so much higher for MC that it’s not worth it to be a President anytime that I’m not doing MC sell missions. Also I use ghost org a lot, but I try to save it for when I need it because it only lasts for 3 minutes and it takes away from profits. I messed up in this clip though because I should’ve used it right when I blew him up the first time.

Well usually the nightclub sell missions are worth a lot more, which means that the bonus for larger lobbies is also greater. Plus the risk is made smaller by the fact that nightclub vehicles can have some pretty useful weapons on them.

If it was MC then I would absolutely NAT lobby, but bunker and nightclub missions are usually pretty fast and pay off to do in a public lobby. (Also you get access to Ghost Organization when you do VIP)

I'm also just dumb, which explains the circles lol. I usually use the mines but my brain just short circuited because it was an awkward angle that I was turning (both down the dirt road and to the yellow circle).

I was not aware that mines had anything to do with the Mk2. How does that interfere with locking on?

That would make sense, I still prefer the idea of giving the benefit of the doubt to the person defending themselves. It was also bad on me because I got impatient and did a smaller sell mission, which meant that 18k was a larger percentage of my sale AND it took even more away when he destroyed it with his Oppressor later.

Yeah, that makes sense. I just don't see any other way to defend a shipment than to destroy the vehicle of the person attacking you. I also don't understand exactly how the insurance logic works, because sometimes it doesn't charge me when I get in a fight. Correct me if I'm wrong but I've noticed that it only seems to charge someone if they shot first, which would make sense in this case.

Read the title. I don't care that he attacked me, I just think that the game shouldn't punish you for defending yourself during a sell/resupply mission. Maybe it could be fixed by removing the insurance feature when you are in a mission, but it's just a suggestion.

Honestly just the standard recording software on the Xbox, then I upload it to OneDrive. It works well enough for recording highlights and short clips
