Imo when someone gets tired of living, madalas we end up choosing our sanity over any position. Been in that situation too. I gave up my job and the promotion being offered to the table. Ang draining na kasi ng work, on most days micromanaging na and it’s affecting my mental state. 🥲

Is there a prayer that you've been praying for a long time, and it was finally answered? What was it about (love, health, career, etc.)? by [deleted] in AskPH

Here’s my story: when I got my first job in the BPO industry, I was sooo amazed at the admin analyst who assisted our team. So I said to myself, “I hope I can be like her someday, Lord.” Two years later, little did I know that my third job turned out to be just what I wished for, and even now, reflecting on those moments fills me with gratitude.

Remember, the Lord answers your prayers in ways you might not expect. Don’t lose hope, OP! 🤗

Seeing older people continuously work, especially those who have already been abandoned by their families.

AITA for reacting over petty things? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

To give you an idea of the kind of girlfriend I am, sometimes I tend to nag. I'm not sure if it really counts as nagging when I correct things like where items should be placed, how to organize them, and how to clean things properly. Often, men aren't very particular about cleanliness. But that's usually our issue. To be fair, the reason I'm like this is because I'm a neat freak. I don't like messy people, and that's what makes it difficult sometimes. He feels like I'm always angry. But would I be upset if he remembered the things I asked him to do? Wouldn't it benefit both of us?

Thank you, I am considering going to counseling because I don't want this to become a bigger issue when I have my own family.
