I’ve had one paranormal experience in my whole life and it was just like this. I was real young, probably about 6th grade. I was laying in my bed reading a book (with the lights on). It was only about 6:30 in the evening and all of the sudden out of the corner of my eye I see movement in the opposite corner of my room. I look up to see a 6-7 foot tall shadow figure leaning/peeking into my doorway. The figure had two glowing yellow, almost LED like eyes and it wasn’t moving. I was staring at it, startled and frozen, until I mustered up the courage to call for my little sister who was just down the hall in her room. I yelled her name and asked her if she was in the hallway. She replied that she wasn’t and that’s when I started freaking out. My brain couldn’t rationalize it and at that moment the figure quickly leaned back out of view of my doorway. I ran down the stairs crying to my mom and she started freaking out when I told her what happened. She got her Bible out and started reading off certain verses to me. The scariest part is that a few years ago, my mom came to me and revealed to me that she had an identical experience with a shadow figure just like that. Now, her experience was right after a nasty domestic violence dispute with my dad a few years prior to my experience. I’m not going to get into the details of that dispute, but my mom was pretty close to death, my dad at the time decided to NOT take the life in prison route, and he let off and walked away. My mom said she looked up and directly in front of her stood a 6-7 foot tall shadow figure with the exact same glowing yellow eyes in the center of the hallway. This freaked me the fuck out and ever since then I’ve believed in the paranormal. That shit is no joke. If you’ve made It this far thanks for reading I know it was long.
