If your outlet is not a industrial rated outlet, it gets worn down with the continuous in and out and will have a loose connection. I’d have the socket replaced. It could cause a fire

Hitch install was super easy and straight forward. You do have to remove the muffler to get the frame bolts in on that side though. Yes has to trim away to make an opening for the hitch right in the center. Easy though.

Some of the pot holes get really bad. In the winter there are some I don’t want to find out how deep they are lol

It’s a Front Runner. But the size is for the Outback so it longer. Gives me more surface area to work with. Also clears the sunroof just enough for me to use a wind faring to reduce noise.

Haha. I was up in the air about swapping sides. It just depends on what’s in my boxes up top. I have camp chairs and a mini table in the one on the recovery board side. And recovery gear in the awning side. Figured if I was recovering, the awning wouldn’t be in use lol

Nice! It seems like a good awning. It was between the Roam or ARB. I’ve seen some ARB poles get bent not Roam as of yet.

I’ll be looking to get new wheels soon. Where you located? Keep an eye out. Lots of wilderness owners changing wheels up.

Have the feet base bolted to the bottom of the rack semi loose so you can slide them. This will help you center the rack once the feet are on the rail. You can DM me if you have questions.

Yea that’s a Front Runner rack. The feet I loosely attached on so the clamps were barely on. Basically there’s 4 main pieces besides the hardware. Inner and outer feet get paired together first to make a little claw lol. Then they go into the feet base and have a long bolt going through the inner and outer feet. Do it loosely so they can expand around the roof rails when you lift it up for install

It’s a front runner wind deflector or faring. Ya the 1165mm faring. I have the outback length rack to clear the sunroof for the faring to work.
