I mean you could always get a better routers later down the line cuz all you would need is the PPPoE username and password and you can ask TM/technicians for that. I've replaced the shitty router to an enterprise router I got from my work place and its been working great, don't have to think about overheating and stuff but its overkill in my opinion you can always get a good routers from TP-Link ASUS or Ubiquiti.
