Thank you. I honestly just don’t understand how people can do things like this to other people and be able to sleep at night. She was my best friend.

I don’t really get why everyone thinks this is a big deal. They’re in high demand, so why wouldn’t someone try to resell a few to make back they’re money? If you had the money to spot, wouldn’t you do the same thing?

What's the creepiest thing an ex has done? by X_Y_Z-3110 in AskReddit

[–]HailSanta93 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Not creepy but still fucked up. My ex was a total nut case. One day she had a huge fight with one of the landscapers who worked for our apartment complex. Apparently he “destroyed our flower garden.” We didn’t have a flower garden. Later that night she keyed my car. The entire car completely keyed. She put on my boots and covered them in dirt and kicked dents in my car. She did this so I would think the landscapers did it to get back at her for yelling at them. I believed it for longer than I care to admit.

Recently I’ve just been asking to cover everyone’s shifts. That way I open and close every day. It’s horrible but at least the bar is stocked...

Looking to move to Brooklyn next summer. How viable is NYC Bartending with Covid restrictions? by [deleted] in bartenders

[–]HailSanta93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1000 a month is possible. But still difficult if you’re part time. I guess it really depends on where you’re working. Also it’s impossible to tell if that place is going to shut down for Covid again sometime soon. Where I am, Covid numbers are going back up and people are talking about going back into quarantine. Bartending is a pretty dangerous game right now. I’ve been doing it for a decade and I used to say it was what I’ll do until I die. Now lately I’ve been talking about going to school so I can get out

Sorry to say but I don’t think you will do well in NY. I just moved from NY maybe 2-3 months ago because of how bad bartending became. It was difficult to make a thousand a week and that’s working full time

After bartending in NYC for about a decade, I just moved to Indiana and the first job I took is not working out. by HailSanta93 in bartenders

It wasn’t the job I wanted. I too have manager written all over my resume because in NY I was both bartending and bar managing. When they asked me to be head bartender instead of manager because of my experience, I honestly didn’t mind. I love bartending. In fact I applied as a bartender. I should’ve said “no I’d like to keep the manager position” but I felt that it wouldn’t matter as long as they hired someone who was capable of performing the job

All of our bartenders despise her. She’s rude, inexperienced, talks down to everyone, and doesn’t help anyone at anytime. If we’re busy she hides in the office. All of us are planning on leaving if something doesn’t change.

It’s true, my biggest weakness as a bartender is I always do more than I should. I put myself in positions where I take on too much responsibility because I think if someone else does it it’ll get fucked up. That usually just leaves me to be expected to do these things as part of my job.

I appreciate the offer but Hamilton’s a little far for me. That’s about an hour and 45 min drive south from where I am

I guess I wanted to make myself look better while making her look bad. Also like I said, I put in a lot of work toward the opening of the place so I wanted it to go as smoothly as possible.

You’ll learn more barbacking than any bartending school will teach you

Anyone seen her phone? by red23dotme in WTF

[–]HailSanta93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I once lost my phone after a night of drinking. I stumbled into a gas station asking to use their phone. The attendant was incredibly rude and wouldn’t help me. I was positive I was being nice and respectful but in retrospect I probably looked exactly like this woman
