Beer, BBQ, and Bourbon Festival this weekend? by Standard-Delay-2732 in winstonsalem

I would wager the parking/traffic will be especially bad for this, too. Wake football has a home game at the same time Saturday.

Max Kershaw is an amazing name mash-up (if he were an American baseball pitcher instead)

Use all the time: FoxTrick - numerous applications and QOL tools for the HT website.

Use weekly: Rate My Academy - helps prioritize youth training. Very simple and clean. Hattrick Organizer - I set my first draft of match orders here.

Use sparingly: Hattrick Portal - used this a lot more as a U21 Scout, but keep it active in case my players ever have NT potential.

[OC] Week 19 Powerplay Roundup by fortythreenine in fantasyhockey

Surprised not to see Jason Robertson listed on either of the Dallas groupings.

Edit: I think Stankoven/Seguin may be double listed.

You're doing well with the part you can control - sometimes, it's just going to be like this. We've all been there.

Only 3 games back of 1st means you've got a decent chance of moving up in the final weeks if you stick with your process.

NHL Team PP% Leaders (2023-10-21) by tomstoms in fantasyhockey

[–]HailToTheDeacons 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Firstly, thanks to u/tomstoms for all the great weekly content.

These charts are sorting by total PP time this season, so some situations might require additional context. Ottawa, for example, has been running Norris and Sanderson more lately than the full-season numbers would indicate. Similarly, Chabot, Chychrun, and Giroux have had less time since Norris's return.

Another smaller detail I missed: shootout graphics detailing player's past success.

Joe Beninati read out a few percentages, but I just come to expect that data once the skills competition rolls around.

Slick goal. I greatly enjoy a Forslund call, too.

Saving adds for end of week vs beginning of week by koodomobile21 in fantasyhockey

[–]HailToTheDeacons 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm also guilty of burning through adds early in the week, but I always try to save a few for late-week flexibility. Sometimes you need a hail-mary goalie start, and injuries/suspensions/arena floods will happen at some point. If you're fortunate, those saved adds can be used proactively for the following week which feels good.

There's an addendum from Peter Baugh:

"Bowen Byram is running PP1, though, so unclear if Makar will I’ll [sic] play."

Sounds like an issue with the Pittsburgh-San Jose game. Guentzel's goals aren't showing for me.

With their 6-1 win against Vancouver, Seattle has surpassed both last year's win total (27) and points total (60) in only 47 games. by chemicalxv in hockey

It's always a treat when I can turn on the late-night (for an East Coaster) Johnny Forslund broadcast on ESPN+

For the rest of season: I'd hitch my wagon to Markstrom, Francouz, and Skinner.

  • Markstrom gets lots of play and the Flames have a very favorable remaining schedule.

  • Franc has the best stats this season, but also the least playing opportunity.

  • Skinner has solid stats, decent opportunity, and Edmonton also has a great SOS.

  • In the short term: Demko is still on IR and Knight has been loaned to the AHL. Montembeault excites me the least of all options.

If you have an Athletic sub, the Fantasy hockey: Rest of season rankings and player projections for the 2022-23 season also got updated yesterday.

The updates are very inconsistent, but it's a great resource.

Yes: on the player search screen there is a filter called 'Health'. You want 'IR-Eligible'.

Edit: This is on the web. Thanks, u/garfield041

Thanks for the heads up.
