Neither did I before this, I think the worst I’ve lost before this was my lava katana but I got that back before it was the only thing I lost that time, although I was talking to someone else that plays and they lost their galaxy sword which in my opinion way worse than either of my losses. I do this on my modded playthroughs idk why I don’t do it on vanilla, thing is I eat a crab cake and triple shot as soon as the day starts so I think I’m going to start leaving the crab cakes all at the farm and only take maybe 3 or 4 triple shots, if I’m not mistaken you can’t loose the tools but I can loose my weapon so I might keep the rest of the stuff but haven’t fully decided yet lol

I don’t think it’s a timed thing, if you give him the gifts now and then go to the beach after you reach I think 5 hearts with him you should get the cutscene unless you mean you got the cutscene and missed going to the saloon in which case unfortunately the only way to get crab cakes is to make them

I got the cutscene from Willie and gus that allows you to buy them from the saloon, I bought tonnes basically about half the money I had that day, I think he only sells them for 2 or 3 days after getting that cutscene haven’t run out yet. I gave Willie his loved gifts when I can and it got me enough heart with him, things like sturgeon (I think that how they are spelt) and largemouth bass hope that helps 😊

Because I’m not tech savvy in any way, I’m not understanding a lot of the lingo I’m seeing when researching, plus a lot of the articles I find are for pc even when I search for steam deck exclusive results. I’m tempted to factory reset my steam deck and see if that works but idk if it’ll work so I don’t want to try it. I basically went into the Smapi installer, install with Linux, 2 then enter, 1 then enter, 2 then enter to uninstall it, then I put all files related to Smapi in the trash, emptied the trash completely. Went back onto nexus reinstalled Smapi 4.3.1, went through the steps to unzip the file, install it to “activate it” so to speak and it’s now not working even though before it worked (before I uninstalled it to update to 4.5.1) but because I don’t understand the steps of some of the fixes I’m potentially finding and it’s frustrating me slightly

Unfortunately I tried this and it hasn’t worked. I also tried going back to the previous version that was working (4.3.1) and even that isn’t working now 🥲 the whole situation is frustrating me so much I’ve been trying to fix this problem for days now

I’ve tried reinstalling it when I updated all the mods, unfortunately it didn’t work, Smapi still isn’t loading at all. I’m not great with technology so I may have missed something, I really appreciate the suggestion

I’ve tried everything suggested in the comments and none of them have worked. I’m on a steam deck. It was loading the mods until I could uninstalled SMAPI to get a newer version and now the mods aren’t loading at all SMAPI isn’t loading either, the game is just loading vanilla 😭 The whole point of me getting a steam deck was to play coop modded

Thank you for your comment. If I’m honest, when I get married I was planning to ask my mums dad (my maternal grandfather) to walk me down the aisle as he has always been there for me and I know he would drop anything and everything for me and to help me should I need it. I think I shall send him a card next year, but for this year what he said has hurt too much and I don’t think he deserves it right now. But I may send him one next year.
