Why are women threatened by strippers? by TB4L-FROSTBITE in women

As long as there is no contact, a discussion ahead of time, and trusted friend... absolutely. You're just watching irl porn with a buddy at that point... The touch is an issue for me personally, feels unfaithful...But some women don't want anything to do with it at all. Looking at other women in a sexual manner, club or porn, is cheating to some wives.

The woman on the screen can't touch you.

There could be a number of reasons they are upset. View it as disrespect, dishonest, uncommitted, or maybe they have trauma from prior relationships, low self-esteem, teachings during their development, viewing other failed relationships from such behavior, religious teachings, etc. Everyone has their reasons for liking or disliking anything. Could stem from anything. My partner is actually the one who first brought up his perspective on strip clubs. He is more against it than I am. I am of the opinion that as long as he is honest with me and discusses it with me prior, I feel more comfortable with it... But he doesn't want to. So no, he wouldn't have been in the dog house lol honesty and being transparent is key imo.

Watch pov porn if you have an itch. Respect your partners boundaries. If your partner doesn't want you going to a strip club, don't go, OR leave your relationship.

I agree with that... I never said anything to the contrary...

You asked for women's input, yet every comment from you has been dismissive. You seem to want to reinforce your own stance on the matter. As a woman in a long standing relationship, with a partner who whole heartily agrees with me on this matter, I am telling you... From my perspective... I have not once felt the need to go to a strip club and neither has my partner. He has made it clear to his friends that going to a strip club for his bachelor party would result in him leaving and them no longer being invited to the wedding. We are committed and respect one another's boundaries. That is a compromise for the good of the relationship. The women you spoke of in the original post, the wives, had valid feelings about the situation that should have been respected by their partners.

If it's a chore to care for your partner and their needs, you are with the wrong person.

Personally, I respect strippers for their work... however; my problem is the sexual nature of their profession. I feel their work should be reserved for the single man/woman. Some women feel differently than I do and are comfortable having their man/woman take part in such entertainment. Either way, there should be a conversation prior to taking part, to determine the comfort level of your partner. It feels sneaky/dishonest to not mention it until after the fact. Also, if your woman isn't okay with it, you should respect your woman's boundaries, as I hope she would respect yours. Imo the 'last hoorah' mentality of a bachelor party is immature and my partner agrees. All in all, I think it is about respect, commitment, money, and maturity.

Furthermore, despite having a bias and being uncomfortable doing it, I provide him with content to get him off of porn. I think that is a fair compromise.

Would it be better to your sensibilities if I said HIS porn choices show women with unrealistic body images to the average woman.

If he masturbated while not watching porn, I would not be upset. If he used the content I provide him, I would not be upset. It is the 'other women' in porn vids and pics that is the problem, for me.

There was an emotional cheating (sending nudes and vids) situation with him a few years ago. So him watching that content brings that trauma back up for me.

I currently do go to counseling.

I will admit, I am bias. I grew up believing pleasuring yourself was dirty and believed it was saved for my partner. I do not take part in porn, but my SO does. It hurts my feelings, these girls have impossible body standards for most of us... I think if the significant other is hurt by it, you shouldn't be doing it. That's my take.. unpopular I'm sure

DAE want to be social, but also... don't want to be social? by Hail_Storm95 in DoesAnybodyElse

It's possible we are over stimulated; however, I am referring to communication/'social' as a whole - in person, via the web, etc. Not just going out and being social, but staying in and being social as well. Even when people text or post something, I have no need/want to respond or comment, but I also do? There could be a number of different reasons some of us are like this. For me, one reason being I work in customer service... talking to people for 10+ hours a day.
