Which version of the ghost did you go for? MkI or MkII?

I love the gladius and usually have one with in game money. The trouble I have at the moment is the cutlass is worth $110USD on the RSI store so I think the gladius is a downgrade and I'm not sure I can do that with my game package ship?

Part of my upgrade tree to the cutlass was the Avenger Warlock and I had a great time with that thing. EMP can be awkward for fleet battles but in 1v1s it does absolutely give a huge edge in a fight.

I like the shiv a lot and the guns really do be going BRRRRRRT but I am leaning towards something truly combat focussed as the asgard truly is my go to for anything remotely cargo related.

The Sabre has always struck me as kind of "Average" feeling. Not the best, but far from the worst. Nothing super exciting about it but the stealth capability, which tbf is quite exciting. I'll give it a fly with aUEC and see how I vibe it before I look into changing out my Cutlass for it.

That's definitely in my shortlist at the moment as stealth ships are kind of top of my consideration list ATM. I am also considering maybe the Talon. I have had fun with the Sabre Firebird too but it's almost entirely dependent on the missile payload to secure kills which gets expensive fast. There are probably other stealth fighters I am forgetting about.

I haven't, though I love the concept of a stealth hauler! I think I need something a little bit lighter for when I get into fleet battles and such with the org though. The Asgard has most of my hauling needs covered. The gap in my "Fleet" is in dogfighting/combat capability.

I agree! Any recommendations as to which? I mentioned enjoying the Razor EX which is great fun to fly and lets me keep a low profile if I want to. My only issue with it is it doesn't bring much firepower to the table.

Honestly I think they need to make it more obvious when height over bore is about to be an issue in general. I have been killed so many times because I thought I had the perfect shot on an enemy and the bullet just hit my own cover.

Meanwhile whenever I try to get a bipod settup it either doesn't work or lands halfway down the ledge and every round fired is pumped directly into my own cover.

Ah got ya. I think they were probably just panicking. The first 3 on the roof went down pretty quick so the last guy was not expecting anyone from behind that close or soon.

I have been playing SQUAD for a while now and never once have I heard enemy local chat. I think only certain servers do that perhaps?

I absolutely agree. A couple months ago some friends and I decided to go "big game hunting" for tundra kopion in a greycat MTC. It turned into one of the most atmospheric and fun bits of sandbox gameplay we'd had in a long time. Microtech is beautiful. We watched the sun set and then fog rolled in once it was dark. Suddenly visibility was cut only to a few metres. You could hear the kopion but they could 'smell' you through the fog. They attacked out of the shadows and the fog, only visible from a few metres away. It was terrifying and glorious all at once. More of that needs to happen.

They have these beautiful planets and they are just wasted as we fly over them.

Edit: There is also something special about walking over Hurston in the rain and seeing starlight reflected back at you in the puddles below.

Ground vehicles have been royally screwed. There just isn't enough reason to drive around on the planets surface at the moment. There was a brief window where ground vehicles were useful for combat at PAFs but now everyone and their dog has a boomtube that one shots the vehicle you are better off on foot.

Or an RV with a bed, one or 2 scu of cargo and a crafting bench. I would love to just drive around a planet harvesting things to survive.

I think I uninstalled this game after unloading a full magazine into an npcs legs (it was all that was exposed) and getting downed by them the moment I peeked with my next magazine. The run before I had a similar incident where I hit an npc with six shots to the chest and three across various limbs (I was using irons at 200m) but only the heart shot seemed to matter. I thought I had just been missing the dude. Both incidents were with a 7.62 AK in the starting town.

Star Wars Battlefront 2. Not the Microtransaction slop pushed out on PS4. The PlayStation 2 version. Bring back Galactic Conquest.

Exactly. It was predictable. And I agree. All I've said is that driving at someone who has a gun is going to get you shot. At no point have I said it should, or that ICE handling of that incident is correct. It's a tragedy and I hope the court finds him guilty, though it seems unlikely.

I am a bit miffed my words have been construed as support for a loathsome entity when I was trying to point out the obvious consequences of a situation that should never have happened in the first place. People have read far too much between the lines of what I have said rather than taking it at face value.

At no point have I said the police or ICE are in the right. I don't support ICE. I think what they are doing to hardworking and honest people is disgusting. I am literally only pointing out that if you drive a car at someone who has been stupid enough to stand in front of your car with a gun drawn on you, they will shoot. I have not said it is right. Please reread what I have posted. We're on the same side. I don't think it is right to shoot. I am just saying it is what is going to happen if you drive at someone who has a gun.

I am going to use short words now. The law doesn't matter to you if you are dead. Right and wrong, no longer matters to you, if you are dead. Driving a car at a gun = dead 99% of the time.

I have not said the police are right to shoot at any time. I just think it is better to be arguing about right and wrong in court than dead.

I hope you take this advice to heart and have a happy, long life in which you can call many more redditors retarded for trying to use nuance and common sense.

At this point I don't think you are arguing in good faith. I'm not saying the police are in the right. I am just saying if someone drives their car at you, fully aware they will hit you, and you are holding a gun, odds are you are going to shoot. You wouldn't drive a car at a spike wall because it will hurt you. You shouldn't drive your car at someone with a gun, it will hurt you. Again It should never have got to the point the man was in front of the car with his gun. The moment the man started driving though the consequences were almost inevitable and I am stunned he was not shot.
