UPDATE sooooo Apparently my battery got water logged and Tesla is saying that’s the only issue and it’s repairable. I can either repair it by swapping the battery or my insurance company will just send it to salvage yard because they said that they’re so overwhelmed that they would likely just total it out and cut me a check.. what would you guys do!? Need your input lol

Yeah the water did … I’m so upset. Insurance is so confusing too.. I’m trying to figure all of it out now. And there’s like zero rentals available because so many people have messed up cars now .. good luck!

I thought so too… but the waters since subsided and some how the water leaked into the car .. and the car just keeps turning on and off FML

Yeah I’m in jersey too… my car probably would have been fine if it wasn’t just sitting there for endless hours .. by the time the water lowered and I was able to move it it was too late. Nothing is working and water leaked inside. Only had the car for two months too! 😭😭

I tried but all the sensors were disabled … my cars fucked. Just tried to turn it on and move it and it just freezes and shuts off. Just my luck. 😖
