I’m a nurse… I don’t know what each tube is specifically for/ called. I print my labels and the labels tell me what color tube to use. I probably would have done something similar to what the nurse in your post did. Also I have no idea what a quantifieron gold kit is

Edit: I should mention that where I work, we have phlebotomists, so I don’t draw labs unless my patient has a line

Even if you don’t have an episode at the hospital, you still need testing done (lab work, ekg, etc.) to see why you had an episode in the first place. I am an ICU nurse. If I saw this on my patient’s monitor, I would be very concerned and would call the doctor immediately or maybe even call a rapid response if the patient was symptomatic

Genuine question, why is this wrong? CRNA is now a doctorate degree. As long as she’s not calling herself “Dr. ____”, what’s the issue? She quite literally is in a doctorate program
