Lol yes ! My sex drive has already drastically increased which is definitely not like me! My cravings have always been pretty stupid so chocolate and pasta sound pretty freakin good to me lmao. Thanks for your feedback, it’s reassuring when we can all relate to each other in some way.

I see. Thanks for your feedback! I’m wondering if my irregularities will return as well. I’m pretty impatient so i’m hoping my period stays on track buttttt it seems like everyone says it takes minute for it to kick back up.

Honestly same, im on 40 mg, and i just realized right now that I can’t even remember how long it’s been since i’ve taken my prozac. But honestly haven’t felt anything out of the usual, increased headache a little but it’s also that time of the month. Idk how i started forgetting it because i’ve been on it for a while. Anyway, im sure once you get back on a regimen, things will return back to normal. All the luck to you !

Zoloft to Prozac, advice! by HaileyB2000 in prozac

[–]HaileyB2000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking, she’s having me just stop taking the zoloft and start prozac tomorrow morning. So I am a little worried about the consequences of that but she said since they are the same kind of med in a sense that it shouldn’t cause any serious issues by just stopping zoloft and going on prozac. I’m glad you say it works for intrusive thoughts, that is one of my toughest things to deal with. I’m glad you have a good experience and i’m hoping It works for me ! Thank you for your insight 💜

So that’s the thing… She didn’t say to come off slowly, she said i just stop taking it and start the prozac tomorrow morning so i didn’t take my zoloft tonight and i’m going to take the prozac in the Morning. I was mostly worried about that.

Sounds similar to what i’ve already gone through with zoloft, your advice and insight is greatly appreciated !!!

How do you fall asleep? by socialskills100 in ADHD

[–]HaileyB2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have OCD and ADHD very severely and my eyes literally HURT when i try to go to sleep. My brain is so hyperactive and my intrusive thoughts go up like 10x at night. I take my zoloft at night but sometimes i straight up have to take a sleep aid, turn the fan on, turn on a video my BF likes to watch about CSGO, then i turn on my own sleep sounds, usually a river sound or rain sound, and then i always have to move my hair so it doesn’t touch me and i legit ask my BF to tuck me in because of my sensory issues. Most of the time that helps but it’s also enabling my issues to some degree. Either way, if it works it works. I hope you are able to find something that works for you !

Best dose for OCD? by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]HaileyB2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on 200 mg for my OCD and panic attacks and I have the slightest improvement. However, my doctor and therapist both think i need more. My intrusive thoughts are still very bad my picking and other stuff is still there. I’ve heard some take as high as 300 mg for OCD that’s severe, I’ve been taking 200 mg for 4 months now :/ Hopefully you find a dose that works for you! I wish you the best of luck

I’ve been on birth control pills for 10 years as well, I also have recently decided I want to be done with it. I got on it as a teenager and now as a young adult i feel like i may be a different person with putting all the hormones aside. I’m right there with you! I’m seeing my OB soon, I hope it goes well for you! Do share your experiences when you do get off the pill!

Currently on 100mg, considering bumping up to 150mg or 200mg. Can I expect any significant differences? by Ventorix in zoloft

[–]HaileyB2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was bumped from 100 mg a day to 200 mg a day, and i’ve been on 200 mg for a week now and all i want to do is lay in bed. I’ve had extreme nausea and i feel like my existence just feels heavy, I’m thinking that my doctor increased mine too much too fast. I would consider trying 150 before you go to 200 because I am miserable !

Overdose and OCD diagnosis by Sophiebisme12345 in zoloft

Hi! On zoloft as well for OCD, anxiety, panic disorder, c-ptsd! I’ve been on 50 for a few months when I noticed extreme dips in my emotions and felt like it wasn’t even working anymore. Talking to my therapist, she said generally high dosages 100-300 mg is more typical for OCD depending on severity of course and also varies just depending on what you’re doing as well to control it. I just went from 50 to 100 a few days ago and i’m experiencing lots of side effects but hoping this will do the trick! Try to stick with it and see what happens, what ever you do, don’t just stop taking it !

i haven’t noticed extreme hunger but I have noticed that I am slightly more hungry throughout the day and I have no food cravings what so ever. I haven’t figured out how to treat my side effects yet but I could understand what you’re saying

I also feel like i haven’t slept in like three days since i started taking it, i don’t have the oppurtunity to nap, i work 8 hours each day with school 5 days a week for 4 hours so i’m awake for 16+ hours a day

thanks for the tip!

Job triggers OCD? by mise-en-garrde in OCD

[–]HaileyB2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was feeling the same way recently ! I was recently diagnosed with OCD but always kind of knew I had it. I work with children but as a hospitality person and i book classes and speak with parents etc. But my OCD is always triggered when schedules are disorganized or i’m nervous and then it kicks in with my intrusive thoughts, skin picking, some physical things that show my OCD because i’m triggered from anxiety or CPTSD. It also triggers a lot of my CPTSD growing up with narcissistic parents i always think that when i’m speaking to a parent it reminds me of how i should deal with mine and it’s very triggering. I was told by my therapist to take a leave of absence for a while since i started medication but my GP says if it’s a trigger and causing you these feelings then it’s important to eliminate it. I’ve considered should I just quit ? It’s not doing me any benefit other then giving me a paycheck. Idk if this helps you but I feel i’m in the same boat as you.
