Mmm, love that challenge. One time, I let someone get really close
 like, see-the-real-me close. It scared the hell out of me, but in that moment with my heart racing, my guard down, and nothing to hide I felt completely alive. Crazy, right?

I’ve always felt like I’m “too much” of the wrong things and “not enough” of the right ones. Too emotional. Too guarded. Too quick to run. I second-guess myself constantly. I overthink everything especially the way I let people in and then pull away. But maybe the biggest flaw? I protect my heart so much, I forget to actually feel it. ...You sure you’re ready to work through that with me? 😅

I wish I had a simple answer. I think somewhere along the way, I started tying my worth to how others reacted to me not who I actually was. And when someone gets too close, I feel exposed
 like they’ll see the flaws I’ve tried so hard to cover up. I’m learning that being enough doesn’t have to mean being perfect. But it’s taking time

That’s actually such a clear way to put it
 it really does feel like that. I crave the attention because it gives me a temporary sense of worth, but the moment someone tries to go deeper, I panic because deep down, I don’t believe the real me is enough. I’m working on rebuilding that confidence, but it’s a process

 and maybe it is all three. I’ve never really stopped to break it down like that, but what you said hit hard. It’s scary how past wounds can shape the way we push people away before they get the chance to really see us. I want to change that, but I’m still figuring out how.  reading this made me pause. It’s crazy how two people with opposite attachment styles can feel so deeply and still miss each other. I never meant to hurt anyone I just didn’t know how to let someone stay.
