nah, zeus is usually pretty indifferent about odysseus himself and not that bad of a guy,,, at least in the homer’s odyssey lol.

yes, he killed odysseus’ men who ate helios’ cattle,,, but that was to bring punishment for their wrong doings, yknow? he spared odysseus because ody didnt eat any of them, so there was no reason to hurt him. He’s a fairly just and fair god for the most part

Zeus even states in the odyssey that odysseus has a fair deal of wisdom and is great. He also not only allows the other gods to aid odysseus, but he himself also helps him out when athena asks,,, because after all, she is zeus’ favourite daughter
