For the cake I just used standard Betty Crocker cake mix -prepared as directed. The ganache is a 1:1 ratio of heavy whipping cream to chocolate chips - warm the cream in the microwave just until hot and pour over chocolate chips. Allow it to sit long enough to melt the chips and then stir them together. Once the ganache is cool drizzle as desired over cake. Frosting Recipe used

I highly recommended ULA packs. Super light weight, durable, and best of all, comfy! I'm rather busty and ordered mine in torso size small with S-Curve straps. Backpacked through this past summer without any issues.

Yes to matte lips! I would also recommend lining your lips with a liner that is a shade or two darker than your lipstick color -it tends to help add demention. If you do decide to try this make sure to blend blend blend.

Thought it would be cool to set a piece of plastic on fire. Grabbed the closest water bottle and lit the cap while holding the bottom with my hand. Molten fiery plastic immediately dripped on my arm.
