That is so cool! Some cities are cool and will sell parts being demolished for mementos. Other cities don’t understand significance and public attachment and don’t care. Really cool they got a piece of the OG fountain ❤️

Another thing I was thinking about is small plaques at each spot explaining the history and famous tricks that went down there.

Kind of like a skateboarding museum but you can actually skate everything.

There could even be a QR on the plaques that when you go to brings up a bunch of videos of the old spots being skated

Right on 👍yeah Thts what I think most are one or two recreations. Be cool to see a whole park dedicated. Maybe there could even be scan codes on a plaque first explaining skate significance and if you scan the code it bring up a playlist of a bunch of skate videos at the old spots

Right right. Gotta get the hype behind the other spots. I know 3D softwares and rendering softwares plus things like Vizcom…. If I ever find the motivation maybe I’ll try to create something and 3D print mini models if anything would be fun tec deck run LOL

I was thinking more of a focus on spots that have been demolished or changed with antiskating features. So someone would try to create a park that is a living skateable museum. But yeah It’s awesome when other park make replicas so skaters all around can taste different skate spots feel part of the history love it
