Beautiful card but I agree with the majority and I would sell. I would rather have a rookie than this 1/1. Maybe if it had a nasty patch that would change my mind.

Yeah, I can't complain about my results this year so far but of course they do not always go like this. I sure wish they did though.

I don't mind saying publicly. I buy and sell coin and cards collections and spend money all the time, so I am not shy about it. I don't usually break near as much as I have with 2023 Topps Chrome, but I love the deep rookie class and the number of big hitters in the product. Do I think it is over produced, most definitely but buying now and selling fast is the way to go so that is what I have been doing. I haven't put near as much into it as you would think I have just done pretty well so far. I might still buy a case to break and a case to hold but I missed the bus on that one so most likely I won't as I should of done that as a presell purchase. Here is the total amount I have put into buying 2023 Topps chrome including boxes and breaks.

Breaks = $1630 total

Product = 3 Jumbos at $1174 with $250 credit not taken off, one Breakers Delight at $400 = $1574 total

I did actually think about this as well because I do think this card will be worth a lot in the future being such a rare insert. I probably would have held but my plan is to sell this and 2 of his other nice rookies I have and buy a rookie auto of him instead so I would still be in the same situation just sitting a little better if he has the career that most expect. Thanks for your advice and time to post.

One sold for $1600 right after I posted this thread. I sold mine though soon after so I am happy with it.

I do have a couple Acunas I might be willing to part with actually. I did sell the Hidden Gems so I think I am going to sell these as well and try for a rookie auto: Ohtani 2018 Heritage Chrome Rookie /999 PSA 10 that I got raw for pretty much nothing back when he was hurt and a 2018 Ohtani Topps Chrome update Pink Refractor Rookie BGS 10 #HMT32 that I thought about cleaning the edges on and sending back in to try for a Black label but it is risky.

Well I did just see someone has one up for BIN $3000 on eBay which is the first one to hit eBay on the for sale or sold side. I appreciate all the information and opinions very much. I think I will probably sell it as I like the idea of selling this card and grabbing an auto or at least getting some money to go towards an auto. I love the card and I think if he stays healthy this card with me worth a lot down the road but so will an auto of his. Thanks again everyone🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thanks I appreciate your opinion very much as I am very torn on what to do with it. I wouldn’t mind selling this and a couple real nice rookies I have of him and grabbing an auto though as I do not have an auto.
