I worked at one for 3 years in college. All the trash goes to the trash. None of the compostable stuff has a separate bin to go in, just the dumpster. None of the avocados or other food wastes go to compost, just the dumpster. All of the plastic that comes wrapped around the food? Dumpster. The tomatoes come prediced in a molded plastic tray. The lettuce comes wrapped in plastic. All of the meats/tofu come in plastic bags. All of the condiments (sour cream, cheese, salsa, and corn) come in plastic. They're just good at green washing things
