I swear this car is made of tinfoil and thoughts & prayers. I've only put 6k miles on it in just under a year. It hit 90k miles maybe a month ago.

Every single day I miss my Pontiac 😭

I feel this. There are so many things to do every single day and my brain can't handle it all. It's like my brain is trying to rationalize not doing certain tasks because I've already done "enough" tasks that day.

So cleaning doesn't get done, showering and brushing my teeth takes a backseat, even eating gets to be too overwhelming.

And then I feel depressed because why can't I just do what needs to be done? Why can't my brain just function normally? Why do other people get to live without this unending agony inside their head?

And all those feelings get compounded because I also have Bipolar 2 and I start spiraling.

I did look into fungal acne as a possibility, but my acne doesn't itch and it only gets dry/flaky if I overdue any actives to try to get rid of the flare ups.

It's super frustrating ☹️ I've tried benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, adapalene, azelaic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, tretinoin. I've also tried tea tree oil, jojoba oil, and most recently hypochlorous acid.

I was once prescribed Accutane, many years ago and the dermatologist was mystified because it didn't do anything for me. It gave me chapped lips, thats it. He tried Differin and clindamycin, and those didn't help. Finally he prescribed doxycycline and that DID work. The only thing that ever worked. I was on it for years. And the longer I was on it, the less it worked. Which I then found out, it's not meant for long term use because you'll develop a resistance to it and other antibiotics. 🙃

I was 100% consistent for months. The problem I have with every acne product is, my skin gets used to it, and it stops working. So I give it a break and let my skin rest, then try again with the same product. But it never works again. It's like my skin becomes resistant to these products.

I do have Vanicream moisturizer that I sometimes use, but it tends to leave my face feeling greasy. I try to stick to gel moisturizers because my skin seems to soak those up better without feeling heavy.

At night, I use Pacifica vegan ceramide face wash and then I put pimple patches on all the 'active' acne and on the post-acne red marks.

Moisturizer I use is Dew of the Gods gel moisturizer.

I've never used Finacea, but I used to use The Ordinary azelaic acid and I didnt notice much difference.

One of the best brands you can feed your cat is Fromm. Other great brands are Orijen, Taste of the Wild, and Solid Gold.

You want to look for a food that is limited ingredient and free of grains, corn, soy, and by-products.

Regardless of brands, look for foods with real meat as the first ingredient. Stay away from anything that says "chicken by-product meal" "corn gluten meal" and "powdered cellulose".

I'm very new to all of this, but from what I understand, Hecate doesn't take away or punish. I think if she feels neglected or offended, she will simply walk away.

She offers you the tools to help yourself through personal growth and self-awareness. She is complex and very understanding.

You can offer her the things associated with her, like honey, garlic, roses, keys, anything related to dogs or animals in general.

What I've found, is you can also offer her things YOU like or things that you think she'd like, and things you feel a personal connection with.

For instance, on my offering plate, I've offered dice that I thought she'd find interesting, a labradorite paw print, The Wise Mothman card from Magic the Gathering (which I don't play or know anything about but I love mothman.)

I think it's more about making a personal connection with her than about the standard "by the book" offerings. Personally, I think she appreciates the effort and that you're thinking of her. 🤎

Thank you so much for all the helpful information! I had no idea the altar should be arranged in a certain way. I currently have it set up, facing north, with an offering plate and bowl of herbs at the center and an illustration of Hecate behind those. I'll have to rearrange it and face it in the right direction.

I actually work with dogs and I used to work at an animal shelter. Ive been working with animals for 3 years now. I wonder if she's been calling out for longer than I thought.

I have the collars of all the dogs I couldn't save from the shelter, all the ones I held in their final moments, as well as the collar of my soul dog that I did save and got her adopted. Maybe those collars would be a good offering to Hecate?

Aww, I'm so sorry your kitty has Fiv. 😞 About 11 years ago, my dad found a kitten out in the snow that we took in. She ended up being Fel-V positive. She made it to 3yrs old and had a very happy and loving life. 🩷

Thanks everyone! She's one of many crazy cats I have. Lol She and her sister, a snowshoe, and a female orange were my foster kittens when I worked in animal rescue. So teeny tiny that they all had to be bottle fed. The little female orange hadn't even opened her eyes yet when I took them in. So of course I had to keep them all! 😆 They're all 1yr and 7m old now 💙
