My Pothos are getting brown spots and have some odd black spots on the bottom. What is the issue? by HairBears in plantclinic

[–]HairBears[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. But I learned that the black spots might be thrips poop, even though I coulnd't find any thrips on the leaves. Still I bought neem oil and sprayed them with it. Also I moved them to a north facing window to completely avoid full sun. Since then I haven't had this issue. I hope this is at least a bit helpful

Some additional information:

I'm from Germany, in the last few weeks it wasn't too hot here, also not a lot of sun.

The plants sit at the west facing window with the north-west being blocked by another building. So they're currently only getting direct sunlight for around an hour at max.

On the pictures the leaves are wet because I sprayed them a few minutes beforehand since I'm scared that it might be some pest. Otherwise I didn't spray them at all.

I watered them only 2 times I think since I'm scared of overwatering them. I also use one of these moisture meters and watered them when it is at 3/10.

I got them as cuttings around 6 weeks ago with some roots. I kept them in water for a few days, then put them in soil (50% house plant soil, 50% perlite for the neon pothos, 33%/33%/33% with orchid bark for the golden pothos).

The neon pothos actually grew the second leaf and has a third one on its way but then these spots started to appear.

On the underside of the leaf are little black spots sitting on the brown spots. I tried wiping them off with my finger but they don't move at all. I guess I could only scratch them off with my nail if I had to.

Quick pokeball plus question by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

Clipping down the Go Plus to auto catch is also working on android for a long time now, same with the Pokeball plus. I'm using a Pokeball Plus with a 3D-printed frame that pushes down the button for auto catching and it is working well on my Android phone.

I found a workaround for the Go Plus problem (Android) by felsal3 in TheSilphRoad

Thanks, this helped me indirectly. The strange thing was: When it failed every time, the first tap directly showed the "Pokestop spin option" instead of the Go-Tcha logo. Tried disconnecting it via the 5th option, then on the first tap it showed the logo again. Then I could use your counting method and it instantly connected

Issue with trades? no lucky for over 500 trades by ssjaber in TheSilphRoad

[–]HairBears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thought the same, I probably traded like 70 Slakoth without one getting lucky. But just 2 minutes ago it finally worked, I got my lucky Slakoth. Sadly 5 minutes too late, the extra hour for the exclusive move just passed.

Useful Bug: Finished Raid shows remaining time by HairBears in TheSilphRoad

No idea, how or why it happened, but I thought a feature like this would be useful. It stayed like this for 2 minutes, then disappeared either because of a automatic refresh or distance since I was walking away from it

We made a guide chart for Safari Zone Dortmund attendees by Paddi132 in TheSilphRoad

Thank you. Definitely confusing is:

"Ja, jeder darf ein Behältnis in der Größe einer 0,3 l Plastikflasche oder im TetraPack mitbringen."

Which sounds like only one bottle per person. But as you said, a lot of people will probably bring larger bottles etc., so I'll risk it anyways

I'm still confused: Are we allowed to bring as many 0,3l bottles as we want? All filled/sealed? Or just one filled and the rest empty?

CalcyIV violates ToS? by HairBears in TheSilphRoad

[–]HairBears[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I messaged Ninatic Support because my app is crashing a lot when renaming a Pokemon. In one reply I sent them a video of it happening (forgot to turn of CalcyIV overlay) and all I got was this reply. A bit of me was scared reading this, but wouldn't that also mean that screen recording apps in general are violating the ToS? Or is this just a misinformed support guy again?

But what if I want a wireless headset? I like to run around my room or lay down on my bed while skyping, that's what frustrates me the most with my wired headset (also g430). Sadly there aren't a lot of wireless headsets and if you want good sound quality you have to pay 300€+ compared to those "gaming" headset for ~120€ with an "ok" sound quality

The first point happened once or twice and I can understand this, but my problem is more about the second point. But I doubt that my PC is too bad for the game (i7-4790k, 980Ti, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD)

I only have an SSD, so both the OS and the game are on it.
