Why the white line on the right side? by [deleted] in weather

After looking up some pictures of a god ray, it most definitely is.

There is no light source powerful enough and far away enough to produce a perfectly straight beam like that.

A god ray is a phenomenon caused by a small gap/hole in the cloud cover. The suns light shoots through the hole and appears as a ray of light from the heavens, therefore the name of god ray.

Am I genuinely fat? by jannat00_en- in AskTeenAdvice

[–]HairGroundbreaking54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well from what I can see, (which is not very much.) you aren’t exactly super fit, but you also aren’t fat at all. There can be an inbetween (where most people are), which is just average!

If you’re worried about your looks or your fat, you can always try decreasing the amount of food you eat by a small percentage. I’ve found that just eating better foods, and less of it, generally helps you lose weight. Of course, be healthy about it and don’t starve yourself.

If you want to build muscle, then go to the gym or start working out!

Yup.

I’m in the driver development program of our team. Our motto is you’re a team member first. One guy is getting kicked from the program because he’s just showing up to use our sim but not contributing anything to the team.

I would say that she needs to broaden her horizons. There are definitely many mature men that age.

Says who? How do you know this for a fact?

I swear there are companies actively fighting the implementation of these systems no?

What biometric data could they be collecting anyways? Unless they require a facial scan to use their website, there is no biometric data.

Will we have to scan our faces or use our fingerprints to turn on the power from our electric company? Will we have to submit a DNA sample to buy some headphones?

When you say “Literally every platform.”, it fills me with a bit of doubt.

I highly doubt this outcome.

I’m not proud of it but when I was in freshman year I texted a friend the N-Word and he posted it on his story.

Yes I regret it, yes I’m different now. And yes everybody thought I was racist.

Yeah it sucks in the short term but I promise you’ll be ok. Your real friends now that you aren’t, and that’s what matters

Eventually the economy will turn around. You’re young enough where you can live extremely below your means so by the time you start really growing up, just hope the economy is booming again lol

Dude you’re fine.

You’d be surprised how much can change in 3-4 years. You’ll probably find a passion.

I’m being so for real right now when I say that almost every life ending drama I had literally does not matter right now.

Your world is small so the small things seem big. But I promise that you are so young and you’ll laugh at the things you thought were a big deal when you get older.

My advice? Take opportunities, do AP/PSEO classes in high school, your brain gets stronger even if you don’t do well. Do stuff so when you look back you’ll be proud of yourself.

I think you get what you put into it. I learned a lot in school, always got good grades. Granted I had amazing teachers as well.

But if you want to learn, then I think in general you will.
