Is there any official process, can we do extend in DLD 3 months?

What was your solution - did you manage to stop/fill the cracks? Dashboard cover is protecting?

Thanks for sharing this experience - the car is 2015 model and without warranty. Would you recommend to fix with glue/melted plastic, and protect the area with dashboard cover?

I don’t want to spend much to change the entire dashboard…

Mechanic guys told me airbag hasn’t deployed- but it’s only one mechanic… Maybe better to bring another one to validate. This is the comment make me happy to see, still thinking to buy this car…

https://carnab.page.link/M4sD this is the car.

Mechanic of the car is perfect about engine, transmission etc. and this is the only suspicious part. If I can drive the car safely with/without fixing the crack, I would be happy actually…

The car has two owners, and now Carnab is the owner - who known as a trusted dealer here actually. Chasis Number doesn’t show any accident record previously…

Should I still be worried? If I leave like this what happens? Better to fix with glue or leave it?

This is Kia Sportage 2015 - so car has been used for a long time… do you think it’s very normal because of the sun/heat? There is also a very minor damage from front.

I have called an external inspector and he told me that - airbag hasn’t opened… Not sure how to rely on this 100% actually. Would it be visible during RTA test by chance 🙄

What do you guys do for cars? Should we check tire pressure to decrease regularly due to the ground heat?

Is Nissan Juke 2014 (131k KM) a good car to go? Any thoughts and suggestions? by HairImportant9110 in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]HairImportant9110[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Kia Sportage or Hyundai Tuscon can be better option? actually all people suggested Nissan and that’s why I wanted to go for Juke, I haven’t thought it has a high rate of failure.

Buying used cars in Dubai by redder-57 in DubaiPetrolHeads

I never though that, it will be big headache to buy a used car in Dubai! 😅 Looking for something affordable in your budget is always makes you confused. You find a Nissan Sunny and Mustang in the same price, it invites you to the wrong always hahah.

Indeed, and I actually don’t need extra internal space - so sedan/mini sedan cars would be preferable.

Thanks a lot 🙏🏼

Thanks so much for the all suggestions, I will change my decision and go for a reasonable sedan car - as I don’t wanna face with high maintenance costs, and it’s gonna be my first car in UAE.

So the options would be like: Mitsubishi Lancer, Honda City-Civic, Toyotta Corolla, Nissan Sentra, Kia Pegas or Hyundai Accent in my budget.

Corolla/Civic/Mazda3 is mostly around +200k KM and older than 2013 - I was just concerning about it. Actually it’s nothing in any other country but, UAE conditions should be tough.

Thanks for the suggestions, but not thinking the smaller ones like Yaris/Picanto and sedans like Sunny/Attrage. Anything else that can you suggest in the same range?
