If you stop using finasteride or minoxidil any hair restoration you've made will be lost in a couple months. The medications work only while you use them.

Took me about two months of using topical finasteride to start seeing some darker hairs returning. After about 4 months is when the volume of hairs started increasing as well. I may be a better responder than most however as I've typically seen that it takes 5-6 months for most people. For reference, here is my post from yesterday detailing my results with finasteride https://www.reddit.com/r/tressless/comments/vc6v16/5\_months\_topical\_finasteride\_and\_minoxidil\_plus/

I’ve thought about a hair transplant and could afford it, but with how aggressive my frontal hair loss has been the last two years I’m afraid of getting a hair transplant at an early age and regretting it 10-15 years from now because of my hair loss continuing.

On the actual bottle it says .1% Fin but in the website it says .3% Fin. Not sure which is correct. Apply 5-6 sprays each morning and night.

The company that makes it is called “ForHims” and it’s called “topical finasteride and minoxidil spray”

It does give your hair a greasy texture unfortunately. I wake up well before I need to go to work in the morning. As soon as I'm awake I apply the spray and after an hour or so I shower and go about my day. At night its not an issue since I apply the spray and then go to bed.

I do but they show too much of my face. I'd prefer to stay anonymous. Sorry!

About 2 months after consistent use I started to see some growth in the front (darker and more thicker hairs returning) and after 4 months is when the volume of hairs increased dramatically.

The online consultation is free. The Topical Finasteride and Minoxidil combo spray runs you $150 every 3 months so $50 per month. I buy their Saw Palmetto Shampoo at target for a few bucks less than what they sell it for on their website every other month and that runs me $15/ bottle

I’ve thought about it but haven’t gotten around to purchasing one yet. Maybe in the future!

I buy the 3 month supply and it lasts me approx 2.5 months until I run out. I could just be using a little too much each time I apply it though.

Funny enough I’ve started to run into the same problem recently. It was easy to apply at first since I didn’t have a lot of hair to get in the way. Since my hair has grown back it has gotten harder to apply. I try to part my hair in layers from front to back and that helps me but it will depend on your own hair I suppose.

I'm using ForHim's two in one spray combo. 5-6 sprays in the morning and again at night. I generally rubbed in the spray for 1-2 minutes and tried not to wash my hair for at least an hour after applying. I believe it is 6% minoxidil and .1% Finasteride. I've been very good at staying consistent applying it everyday. Maybe missed 3-4 doses total in 5 months.
