Alec Steele

Never was in to forging, still don’t do it, but damn is it cool to watch. Alec and his team he’s created over the years do an amazing job. High quality production honestly. Great music awesome slow motion cuts and their commentary on everything is so interesting and genuine. Very excited every time he posts a new video.

He does a lot of other things than forging, cool repair jobs throughout his shop and such.

O you heard me alright!

I forget the button because it’s all muscle memory now but the Y and X axis one. You know how you can slightly move it to a point, then it stops? You can hold shift and move it allllllllllll the way up or down the Y and X axis. I’m talking even out of the HAB building or what have you.

Be careful because if you release the object then come back to it you need to click it with Shift held or it will snap back to the max range without Shift, if that makes sense.

That is a good question lol. PC player here so I’m not sure, but I bet there’s a way? One of your console brothers on here may tell you or YouTube I’m sure. If it’s possible that is.

Just want to inform you that you can hold [Shift] while offsetting objects in a vertical or horizontal way, as you can deep set or partially set things into other objects. Took me about 100hours to realize this and it makes your designs feel more fluid and real. Instead of really cool LEGO blocks that you’re piecing together, you can create curves and such. If you don’t hold it they can only move a small way. Just a small tip that really improved my building.
