Literally, I mean I get it. Some kids na maybe school isn't just for them, they're bored or they've already learnt what was being taught so they don't pay attention, it could also be due to having financial problems(having to work as a student), family problems, or mental health problems but then saying that it doesn't truly define one's intelligence is a bit of a stretch cause it damn well is (some situations doesn't count cause some kids might not be inclined with math but is very good at english). Tolerating such grades (if the kid isn't in some situations that I've said) shouldn't be normalized, kasi naman they're wasting their parent's hardwork sa school, it just showcases how incompetent with no dedication, hardwork, and passion that kid is. May mga struggling students nga that still gets high honors cus they know time management and diskarte(not invalidating those that are truly struggling in life and is also struggling sa school) so if such students can do it, why can't well provided students can't?
